We will burn up whatever we need to burn up a day at a time. We have lots of time to get there so we will play safe and just have fun. We are 743 miles into an 1849 mile cruise and have had a fun time even with all the little oopses that have happened.

Sometimes the two (journey & destination) end up being 'second star on the right; then onward til morning' which in a way is way cool.

Aha moment: we were not in CA, but in Weed, NM. Population 63 and a whole bunch of horses roaming the street. This Weed is near Cloudcroft in the Sacramento Mtns.

We were there because of the name. It was my stepdaughter's nickname as a growing child.

We've also searched out places like Uncertain (TX) and Why (NM). Dime Box, TX, was mentioned in the book Blue Highways, and that got me started. Doesn't matter what the place is like, just that we've seen it.

Ain't life on the outer rainbow grand? It's what you make of it. 😎😎😎

As stated, wonderful time with Sue and Martin last evening. Florence is a darling.

Today is another day and should be just as wonderful.

Saturday, if Martin and Sue are willing, Jeannie, Dave, and maybe Bob and Stephanie, will take the ferry from Bolivar, stop and hug Florence (and of course Martin and Sue), and then all come over to our house for a nice visit and chat.

However, pictures are worth many words so here is yesterday's happenings.

Should I consider getting Lily vaccinated before Tucson?
Are you still making kefir? If so, it should help. With the bird flu, they saved many birds by giving them kimchi, which is fermented like sauerkraut, and you can use kefir whey to start a kraut and have it ready faster...
I would sprinkle a little the powder from a probiotic on her food daily and call it good enough. You can also call her vet she sees most regularly and ask. Tell them where you are and what's happening in her world, (your plans) and ask their advice.

How is it that Earlene is so close to the table yet Mr. Round has plenty of space for himself? Is that booth tilted or something?
