I never can catch those dreams. Are your catchers better?

Sorry we could not be there today - taking Citrus to the Freightliner place. More on that later mutants.

When taking Citrus to the RV Hospital I noticed a rubbing noise with each rotation of the right front tire. Only here it at the slow speed on smooth surface but it was there. Sounds like a bearing starting to fail, but then it could be just a brake lining rubbing. Who knows. Anyway, better safe than sorry.

Hope to get on the road the 24th. We have a 3 night stop before we get to Tuscon. Right hand turn in Albuquerque, right?

Rubbing noise with each wheel rotation, hum, I'm no mechanic but did you check the clearance between steering wheel and your belt buckle?

Update on the FESWMG

Oh my, the saga continues. I'm not convinced that cg management and organization is the main line of w&?k for the folks at the campground. They would be challenged if they only had a single pedestal next to the horse show ring. First come, first served of course. LOL

We, the humble mutants, have been moved. We will now reside on the pavement, near the RV office, with FHU. The campground could not guarantee that our original sites would become FHU by the time of our arrival. We now sit side by side in an L shape. Distance from point A to point B unknown because I've never been there (but we will congregate "there" and have a good time regardless of the continuing saga of the FESWMG).

Thanks go out to Dwayne and Shara. They stopped by the campground to arrange their arrival for the 27th instead of the 1st.. One thing led to another in their conversations and Dwayne found out that we have new digs (arranged by the CG without informing me OR Dwayne convinced them that the old digs wouldn't work for the size of most of our units and the need for FHU). We might have shown up and the CG had us boondocking on the gravel. Which means we would have been better off boondocking in Quartzsite.

The issue of "fake" fire pits was "addressed" again. I described the propane fire pits for a second or third time to the second or third person. This person will ask the person in charge of the entire fairgrounds. As I previously stated, this seems like their first rodeo. Pardon the intended pun.

Thanks for the update Steve. Things will work out for the best I'm sure, with that many of us showing up, it'll be grand!

I talked to Barbara today as well... We are arriving on the 30th.... She did not say anything, just said to be sure and tell them in the office who we are with when we arrive....

Good thing Dwayne stopped by.... I agree they do act like greenhorns....
Thanks again Steve...

Papaw Steve, there are many situations where it is wiser to beg for forgiveness rather than ask for permission. I do that frequently with Sena since she is not even close to people's preconceived notion of what monkeys are like. It is easier for them to say, "No" than take the time to understand what she is.

I think the propane fire pits also fit into that category. Unless there is a county wide ban on propane grills, I doubt anyone will care, but if they do you can all blame me.

I think the Tree that jumped out in front of Tim is related to the 3 1/2' steel pole in front of the campground entrance here in Yuma.
