Stay warm!

Thanks for the helpful hint. Just picked up two of them locally. They had at least 1/2 dozen left.

Not how we remember the fair grounds looking......Hunter and I met in Tucson and got married there too. I grew up in Phoenix and Tucson until my Sophomore year of high school and went to many fairs there. No RV park that I remember though lol.

Horace and Ovetta found an old dump on their property at the edge of the caliche (a gravel and clay mixture) pit. They sold caliche to the highway department and mined that dump for treasures from the past. They got really excited when they found old glass bottles that weren't broken, especially the "corkers".

They sold enough caliche to build a small house that Ovetta decorated in her favorite color-- lavender. It was the first and only time I ever saw lavender vinyl flooring. EVERYTHING in that house was lavender. I guess you could say they were my most colorful relatives.

Well, we tried to make it to Tucson today Yesterday while I was airing up tires I ran into trouble with the duals. One side is missing the valve extension for the inside tire. The valve on the outside tire on the driver's side would not let air in, only out. It got down to 45 pounds before I gave up trying, it needs 65! I couldn't find anyplace that could fix them this afternoon.

But! We moved out of the backyard, Smarty is connected and I set my phone and iPad alarms for 7:20 am. We'll limp to the tire shop a few blocks away and be first in line when they open at 8:00 in the morning.

With any luck we should be on the road by 10:30 with full tanks of gas and propane and a full frig. It's about a 2 hour drive. We'll get there right about nap time.

Purrrrrfect. Wind was too bad to drive. Be careful
