I'd like to thank my fellow mutants that provided me the energy before leaving to get just past El Paso tonight. Or maybe it was those two extra large cups of Dunkin Donuts coffee I made along the way 😀. Either way it was a nice calm drive as most were too involved in the SB game to be out. Time for sleep and then continuing my journey thru the rest of Texas!

Thanks for the progress report, Carl! You are one maniac driver. At least you have Boko and Mac to help you watch the road. Look out for Texas Highway Patrol. They like to hide.

Lunar New Year is today. And would you believe it's the year of the Monkey!
Your bit of trivia for the day, courtesy of the Google Doodle. 🤗

Summer in CO Rockies
I bet there are some great recommendations among the Mutants:
We're looking for CG and sights-to-see recommendations for this summer, mostly in the CO Rockies. Leaving Tucson about the time triple-digit weather hits (about June 1st). We will get up to Gillette WY for the Allegro Club Rally on June 20-24, then a week or two over in Mt. Rushmore area. Balance of summer will be spent in CO Rockies. We typically like to spend a week or so in any one stop. We don't camp much above 9,000 ft. as most of you know, the ol' refrigerator doesn't light at 10,000 ft. Full hook ups or dry-camping in forest CGs and state parks are all considered. We tend to rotate between full hooks and w/o. Recommendations always appreciated!
