Now if we could just get some tips from a real snake wrangler!

Who could we all, let me think.

So I ponder as I wonder what would wasp spray do to a rattler besides make it really mad, and other than making it really mad, would it vacate the area ?

Cheers !!!
Jeff, I bought 2 cans of wasp spray to use as coyote deterrant. I opened the first can and sprayed it around the property to "mark" our territory. What surprised me was that it had very little odor. I was hoping for a really strong insecticide smell that would leave no doubt as to where I sprayed it. I didn't rub any in my eyes, but this stuff seemed rather benign. I'm wondering if I got a bad batch, or has that stuff changed that much?

Evenin Muteys!

Barb and I just retuned from day two of our mini curiosity with Wayne and Earlene. They took us to this great little place in Texas City with the best fried catfish this Texas boy ever put in his mouth! In addition the red beans and rice were equally awesome... We practically had to be rolled out of the place we were so stuffed! As if that wasn't enough, it was back to their house for coffee and desert that Earlene whipped up just for us.....wow can this girl make great desert! Come April at the GC Barb and I will be hanging around their campsite a lot! Oh and Wayne makes a special drink you gotta try.... Thanks Wayne we are hooked! We have enjoyed ourselves so much thanks to our new friends and we are already excited to have them up to DFW so we can return the favor. Maybe we can meet Steve and Annie and have a slightly larger mini curiosity. Thanks again to Wayne and Earlene for a great visit.

Earlene and I reciprocated and played host and hostess a the stick house today with Herb and Barb as our guests. I couldn't believe it when Herb refused a drink, the lush, but I fixed him one of my special smoothies. From the reaction, I think he liked it as Barb also did. Then we took them on a short tour of the Texas City Dike and then up the road a bit to our favorite catfish eating place. All you can eat catfish for $8.99. Again I got the impression that it was well liked. Finally we got back home and Earlene had fixed a desert fit for a mutant, and again I think it was well received. I'll let Herb comment on anything I may have left out.

Oh! Before he tells on me I had a mishap pulling into the parking lot of The Fish Place in Dickinson, TX. I hit the curb with my low profile 22.5" tires and it pinched a hole in the tire. Lucky we had to sit and eat food waiting for the GS tire replacement guy. GS showed up and changed the tire to my spare and off we went.

Oh well, stupid is as stupid does. Only problem now is the next six months of hearing, "Don't hit the curb!"

Editied: Shucks! He beat me to it!

Now Wayne I told you I wasn't going to say anything about that "little incident" ..... Besides, Earlene does a much better job than I ever could! Good luck with that my friend.

She said good night and went to bed. Hmm!

Nah! I know that won't last long.

Herb and Barb, thanks for the great company the last two days. Let's kiss and make up and do it all again soon.

Jeff,

Our hearts go out to you. I know you were hoping for a better outcome but life has a way of dealing from the bottom once in a while. DW and I send our thoughts and best wishes to you at this unpleasant time. Our sincere condolences mutant friend.

I think you missed an "R" in there right after the first letter.

Wouldn't you want to be a mutant, too?

Is it too late to become a member? I'm a mutant - we have an entry level, no keyless entry, no solar panel, no air horn (darn it), gasser short MH without full body paint - and we love it! No additional stuff required. In fact, when we transitioned from TT to MH this year we jettisoned an embarrassingly large collection of stuff that we really just don't need. I feel like I could hold a yard sale of just RVing junk...I mean treasures. Downsizing is our motto now - as soon as the grandkids move out we are selling the house and going tiny. Just need enough room for us and the critters.

As for treats... Food could get you assaulted by an unmannerly pack of thieves. Best to save them for Sena. If you take a camera and/or sunglasses make sure they have a sturdy strap and you have a good grip on it.

Enjoy them for me, too.
My second thoughts exactly on the pocketful of treats. Those CR guys may be fun to watch, but I know they are wild animals & I know what free food can do to their behavior.

Thanks!
Sue

Funny how the coffee doesn't spill out or the burger and fries slide off the plate!

You'll have an even better idea once you go through the buffet line or show up 20 minutes after it opens. At least that's what my aunt told me.
