BTW, it packed neatly in the back of the HHR. Will have gobs of room in our new Enclave. Thanks again. It made the mile trek this morning doable and painless.
If your Enclave is as good to you as Denise's Rendezvous is to her then I'm sure you'll have yuears of enjoyment from it.

As I've mentioned before on here, we love our Enclave. A ride that is unmatched by anything that we've driven. Toys galore for keeping track of "idiot drivers" around you and a few to keep me from joining the ranks of an idiot driver.

Major plus - - seats seven (Mary Ann, me, Grace, Brady, Dru, Austin, and Conner). No longer have to switch vehicles with their parents to enable us to cart them all around with us.

Major fault - - 19 - 23 mpg. Really not that bad for a car as big as it is. Whining a little.

Still tow the HHR until it "peters out". Has 91K on it.

Tx, Carl. On the third bird, I was thinking there is a grey-headed nun something or other -- parakeet? Lorikeet?

I'm leaning towards a Senegal parrot. If you look at images of those, some look very similar. Of course, once Elizabeth pipes up, we'll know for certain

Sure seems quiet on here!

We are in San Antonio at Fort Sam Houston RV Park. Weather has been great. In the 60's at night and high 70's during the day. One of our favorite places to be. Did the River Walk today, had lunch. Here is our select seating view at lunch time:

Weird things happening in the desert.

Yesterday, Sue and I were returning to the park from Maricopa after dark and we saw to the left a couple of clusters of lights high in the sky. At first, Sue thought it was two planes on a landing approach but they were too close to each other, the lights were too yellow and they were stationary.

Each cluster comprised four or five lights and just hovered there for about ten minutes then just spluttered out one after the other.

A Google search reveals that these sightings are quite common and most of the explanations given relate to a nearby Air Force range putting up flares. Quite how they get those flares to hover for so long is mystifying.

Very spooky - we will take a look outside this evening.

Great Steve! I'm happy it's being used and glad that I no longer need it.

Nearly at Red Bay, by the sound of it not having as much fun as you lot though. We're at Vicksburg Staying at the Casino RV park. Managed to win enough to cover a very good dinner and most of Pat's wine...so I'll take that as a win all day long.

Be safe out there and watch out for those little green men.
