Sue and Martin, where you at?

We're off to Phoenix to visit our nephew then back here.

May get to see Barb as an added attraction.

Leaving here for Yuma in the morning.

More on those lights:

Our neighbors here saw them again yesterday just after sunset. This time they were moving. We were told the local news station had a segment about many reported observations of the lights and that the local AFB denied all knowledge. Well, they would wouldn't they.

Curiouser and curiouser. Will keep a sharp lookout tonight and get pics if possible and not abducted.

Come on down and see the lights!

How is the place. Just looked and it's 2 hours 43 minutes from here in Yuma and the same from there to Dead Horse. Could be a good way to split that trip up.

It's fairly basic Steve. Large level gravel sites, 50A FHU, most with shade trees. Very friendly folk here. Quite a few vacancies. $150/wk incl. Owned and managed by a young couple who are gradually making improvements. Casino about 8 miles north on road to Maricopa. (since you're into that sort of thing).
We leave for Yuma on 1 March.

We will be here (Cocopah, Yuma) until March 8th. May extend a week or so here or move to where you and Jeff and Marcia will be.

Just don't want to do a 6+ hour drive to Cottonwood. Thinking of maybe 2 stops. 1 around Eloy, Casa Grande, and the other near Sedona / Cottonwood.

We didn't go far -- just back at our friend's place in Phoenix where Lily has a yard to play in and friends to play with. Life is easier with FHU, free laundry, free unlimited WiFi and a Costco and Walmart nearby. It's nice to have friends and family who allow us to squat on their property.

Yep, you should definitely swell the ranks at Riverfront, at least for a while. Speaking of the ranks, did you know that potlucks may soon be legal again in AZ? The vote is soon. 😏

Re: parks, we liked Picacho Peak State Park, as well as this one, but I think you & Annie might prefer the Picacho Peak RV Resort just below the mountain. It has a nice pool, library, activities hall, etc., generous sites and some shade. Also picnic tables that tip you and your breakfast over backwards if you both sit on the same side. Trust me.

I'm told a lot of skydivers use the airport at Eloy, and that you can go sit and watch them practice. Free entertainment.

Cheers!

We drove the state park and saw the RV Park beside the highway when we stayed in Eloy in December.

We won't know when we can leave Yuma until I get my CT sinus scan on 3/4 and see the ENT again on 3/8 (the day we're slated to leave here).

Since the sinus thing is keeping me off booze and out of pools pretty much, we need less...

My friend from Phoenix called today and will likely join us at Dead Horse or elsewhere in the area depending on when we arrive. I don't anticipate not being at Dead Horse, but maybe staying in the area a bit longer. We shall see!

We may be there tomorrow or the next day (Yuma) and maybe we could set up a group gathering depending on who's available.
