Thank you! Someday we'll meet up. We have eight birds. The Senegal, then four Eclectus and three macaws - severe, blue and gold and Catalina. Six are rescues/rehomes. Two are originally ours.

This is Amadeus (Ami). He is a Senegal parrot, and he talks all day long. If he doesn't like you he tells you that you stink and need a bath.

So I must show some moments I have not shared before.
In each case, there were lights in the sky in formation.

Or MARLG is told by and from the birds perspective. And I'm pretty sure mutants would go willingly. Carlos Castenada had nuthin on us.

It looks like this tonight.

Yep, military operations are classified as a minimum of confidential unless joint exercises then they may be publicized or you are govern.....never mind.

Yes, most are cluster flares. Similar to the cluster bursts you might see on a 4th of July but the pyrotechnics of military cluster flares are not designed to erupt like the 4th clusters but typically they will be 3 or more flares to a cluster. They may not all ignite at the same time giving a longer view for the illumination delay.

Some info

Curiouser and curiouser. Will keep a sharp lookout tonight and get pics if possible and not abducted.
Be wary wary careful. Beam me up Scotty may take a new connotation. If you are taking pictures just remember which button you pressed last so you can get back.

I'll believe it when they land and introduce themselves. Might be some of the posters here are partaking of special juices or herbs.

Well, He would at least enjoy the weather right now... 60 degrees out there at 9:30 PM! Almost got to 70 today, and likely did where I was at in Parsons, KS all day...Felt like it, was colder inside than out!

Photo extracted from the AZ news TV website reporting on the sightings. You can see smoke coming from the lights so I guess they must be flares.

Buncha links comin in broken tonight, including Ami and your moon tonight. Drat! Here's my contribution, hoping they come through:
This is our local flyer returning from about an hour out over the desert southwest of us:

And lastly, cloudy days have lovely endings out here. Weather forecasters even predict beautiful sunsets based on cloudiness:

BTW, cold-blooded critters are indeed waking early this year, as forecast. A camper here had his dog get bitten yesterday. Must have either let him run loose or left him tied out, because they didn't see it happen.

I walk early in the cool. And carefully!

That's not smoke. Those are the tails of the 4 eyed intergalactic mutants. Geesh.

Haven't heard yet. The pickup was gone today, so I assume they'd taken him to the vet. I imagine out here antivenin is kept on hand at all times.

The thing is, according to our neighbor, the man had been telling everyone they wouldn't be seeing snakes until March. In a normal year, he'd have been correct, but he hadn't been paying attention, apparently. Too bad it's his dog who's paying the physical price.
