Haven't heard yet. The pickup was gone today, so I assume they'd taken him to the vet. I imagine out here antivenin is kept on hand at all times.

The thing is, according to our neighbor, the man had been telling everyone they wouldn't be seeing snakes until March. In a normal year, he'd have been correct, but he hadn't been paying attention, apparently. Too bad it's his dog who's paying the physical price.

Made it home to the S&B today. Lots of strong wind blowing us around the other day made me glad to be in a car. Today it was rain, snow, sleet, sun shine, back to sleet and then sunshine again. Can't seem to make up it's mind. For the good news, most of the snow is gone from the road to our house. There is grass showing in the meadow. Is spring in the air?

Well that roadrunner that keeps showing up here in the morning isn't being chased by a coyote, that I do know. They wouldn't be running through here daily if lizards, snakes, etc weren't out somewhere. There aren't any reports around us and folks here watch their fur faces closely (Rules, but I don't think these folks would do otherwise if there were no rules; great neighbors.)

Speedy recovery to anyone bitten by a rattlesnake (Dwayne - move away from the snake.)

Photo extracted from the AZ news TV website reporting on the sightings. You can see smoke coming from the lights so I guess they must be flares.
Wow! I don't even have to see the news to identify those flares. I've seen to many in Vietnam for 13 months. Thanks for the update and glad you are still on Terra Firma.

It appears that Betsy is becoming the master of the RV and you are now her pets.

Barb, we have to apologize for yesterday. We got so involved chatting with our nephew that we over extended the time we could be away and had to get back for the pups. Will try to connect later when we get back home and you are back in the North Wet.
