RVM5 checking in. We are in Apache Junction until April 4. Then we head for Cottonwood.
Not doing anything special. Cook some. Eat out some. Go on afternoon rides to nowhere special. Enjoying the 80 degree weather and blue skies. Windy today. Cooling trend headed our way - - 70's.
Ohms to all who need healing.

Thank you, my chosen family, for once again being here to comfort when needed.
I hope to see LOTS of you at Dead Horse Ranch State Park near Cottonwood, AZ April 4-10 to help Mel and Kate get off to a good start on their full time Rainbow journey. I just checked and there are still 3 sites available in the "Hawk" loops and 2 in the "Quail" loop nearby. Here's a link to the park's online reservation system
https://azstateparks.itinio.com/deadhorseranch/
I believe most of us are in the Cooper's Hawk loop.

Barb, sorry for your loss. Comments from other mutunts are so on about our family. Right now, I'd gladly turn my dad in for a trade. While we were gone, he had lost about 20 lbs and gotten weaker, having trouble with balance too. He also drove his truck to Boise (about a 5 hr drive one way) by himself at 92 yrs old and got into 2 fender benders. Then he turned around and drove back the same day, getting home in the wee hours of the morning. He also had someone show up at his door acting as a doc or nurse and checked his blood pressure, weight, listened to his heart, checked his medication, etc. He never gave him any paperwork so we don't who the person represented. I've called his doctors, pharmacy, bank, and did a police report. No one knows of anyone that would come to the house like that. To say it mildly...I'm very frustrated right now. Please ohms for the selling of his truck! Anyone interested in a 97 Ford 150 truck?

This post is a test to see if the forums is working. Unlike many of my other post, this one has a purpose! It appears the usercp is not working, or everyone's awful quiet.

BTW, cold-blooded critters are indeed waking early this year, as forecast. A camper here had his dog get bitten yesterday. Must have either let him run loose or left him tied out, because they didn't see it happen.
I walk early in the cool. And carefully![/QUOTE]
Yes they are out everyone please watch out. Cool in morning they are still out . Slower moving but out none the less.

My Mom passed away this morning at age 89. She lived a long life and her passing was expected. We were not close -- she divorced and left us with Dad when I was 6. That taught me the fierce sense of independence that has allowed me the courage travel the country with Sena and Lily for close to 5 years.

I'm so sorry for your loss prayers sent.

There is a cute 2 1/2 year old here named Zane. We were out in the front yard on Friday and he looked up and saw the daytime moon. I told Zane about the song my DD taught me when she was his age. The words are something like this --
I see the moon and the moon sees me, down thru the leaves of the old oak tree. Please let the moon that shines on me, shine on the ones I love.
I think the moon has shown itself important to RVMs. I move that we designate Earth's moon as the official RVM celestial body.
Do I hear a second?

Barb, you have my second.
Mother Earth, Brother Sun and Sister Moon. We ride the rainbow of a spinning, orbiting earth, warmed by the sun, and pulled like the tides by the moon. They are each a joyous part of the RVMdom and we embrace them as our own.
