And I just noticed I said "effect" when I should have used "affect". Funny, I always mess that one up

He also drove his truck to Boise (about a 5 hr drive one way) by himself at 92 yrs old and got into 2 fender benders. Then he turned around and drove back the same day, getting home in the wee hours of the morning. He also had someone show up at his door acting as a doc or nurse and checked his blood pressure, weight, listened to his heart, checked his medication, etc. He never gave him any paperwork so we don't who the person represented. I've called his doctors, pharmacy, bank, and did a police report. No one knows of anyone that would come to the house like that. To say it mildly...I'm very frustrated right now. Please ohms for the selling of his truck! Anyone interested in a 97 Ford 150 truck?

Hope you found out who it was that came over......that's scary!!!

Deb,

Is it possible your Dad confused the person he remembers coming to his house with someone at his doctor's office during a previous scheduled visit? Both my Mom and Stepmom mixed up incidents and dates and their fears of losing control over their lives made them a bit paranoid.

I'm impressed that at 92 your Dad made it to Boise and back. I assume he's not happy about losing his driving privileges. Getting old sure ain't easy.
