Yes, I am presently in possession of 10 books entitled "Camels Don't Need Fancy Gowns". Each one is signed by the illustrator. Grace practiced her signature and it still looks like a scrawl written while walking down the red carpet. LOL
Put my name on one. Scrawl works for me . I'll come with cash in hand.

Mutant progeny and grand progeny are certainly exceptional. Did I mention that my DD got a full ride 5 year scholarship to the University of Oklahoma based on her ACT test score of a 33? That was in 1992 and she has had many other great accomplishments, but none that I can remember.

We have much to crow about.

Aw yes - - It's great when YOUR hard work works out. She didn't achieve all of this on her own. Good job Dad. Let Morgan know that we know she's special. Can't get enough of good news from fellow mutants.

Hey Steve.
Hi Mary Ann.

I read your post about checking off the last of the AJ punch list. So of you haven't been out to the park below - you might just take a leisurely drive over there. When Bruce visited us in AJ we drove out there. They were full up. I may try to sneak in there for a week on the way up to Dead Horse.

Thanks all for the nice words.
I let Morgan know about it.

The neat thing is she has such great academic discipline on her own.
We've never had to tell her to do her homework. Most times she has it done before she gets home from school.
She probably gets this from the way we live our life, she's always been taught to work smart and that you reap the rewards of hard work.

Next stop...University!

Are you praying for those huge scholarships yet, Les?

Morgan already has a few small ones. But, with ending school with a 97% average and her history of grades, I suspect good things to come yet for her. We also have a bit socked away for her. No worries.

It's Sinus CT Scan day. Yippee!
Nice morning! The weather bug says we're moving into cooler weather over the next 10 days. Even a 40% chance of rain on Monday.

Hope the banging sounds don't cause a headache!

Got Gracie new slippers for the front. Mounted, balanced and out the door for $399.46 and we're ready to roll again. Now to figure out when and where to..............

I was top dog on my principles list - seems like I just stayed there.

Congratulations to Morgan, Les. And to you and Bonnie for doing such a fine job of bringing her to this level.

Small but expensive. Saved a whack buying them here.

On another note> I could only get into that park for three days 3-4-5 and then we are headed home. They are all booked now and we got 103 for the three days and that's around the loop from Steve. Anyway we will be there for a short time.
