Di (Diwizi) will surely be along to inquire about your personal life so that we know you better.

Mary Ann and I are both retired (Dow Chemical and teaching). We have 2 daughters and 5 grandkids. We have a S & B (sticks and bricks) in central Indiana. We roam the country in a 40' motor home.

We have met a large parcel of our mutant friends at events around the country. It (meeting fellow mutants) is priceless.

Now you are free to start at RVM post number 1 and we'll hear from you in about 75 days when you catch up to today's posts. LOL

R U an RV Mutant too?

Well, the weekend didn't go as planned. We headed out yesterday, and had a beautiful evening and day today. Then high winds started blowing (60 mph gusts). We brought in the slides - I was worried about the slide toppers. Then branches started breaking off of the trees we were under. Several branches landed on the roof. After climbing up in the approaching darkness to assess the damage (scratches), we decided to pull up stakes and head home. Thankfully, we camped close to home, but the drive home was not pleasant.

OHHHHH....it does feel sooooo good to get moving again!

We are set up at the Stagecoach RV Park in St. Augustine, FL for 3 nights. Not a bad little place. Nothing very fancy at all but close to the sights of the area.

We dodged any serious weather but had a couple times we thought we were on a 3 lane parking lot. All part of the fun. LOL

Now...over the next couple weeks we dive back into the relatively cold weather after 5 months of wearing shorts.

And it wasn't even an GC...
Sounds familiar. I may have been is a similar situation a time or two.

These days we pretty much sit it out. No place to go home to. Although, I'd have run for cover somewhere at the Hail of a GC if I'd been watching doppler radar. Yikes.

Glad ya made it home safely!
