Hi-def DVR? You gotta be kidding.
HDMI cabling throughout? not a chance.
Solar? Not.
Automatic generator start? Uh uh.
AGM batteries? Not a one.

Yay!

I'm a mutant!

Remember the mutant in the 50's movie 'Panic in The Year Zero'? I hope I don't have to wear that costume.

Good old Texas rainstorms -- I remember them well. And don't miss them, either. Thunder and lightening are rare in the Pacific Northwet, and fur kids up here are much more confident without them.

It sure is nice to get a month's worth of rain over and done with in a matter of hours, tho.

Herb and Steve -- aren't ya glad you aren't having to drive the coaches tonight.

You knew you were all along, just took you time to admit it. Welcome aboard. I fully understand about the snoring and gassy retriever, but ours is an all in one package.

Hey great idea! Then you could race the monkey riding the dog at county fairs.

One too many lost weekends with Ray for me to remember the mutant - but if you say so, I with ya all the way!

Hey Herb,

Are we about to fill up all our reserved spaces @ CL? If we keep adding to the mut-roster the way we have been lately, we may have to book the WHOLE park. That would be a Curiosity of epic proportions. Maybe 2015?

Mine was already asleep for the winter. However, I had to wake it up yesterday to fill its belly with diesel and some additive. Not sure if I had forgotten to do this or secretly wanted to drive it one more time.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but I was always under the impression that two fingers was acquired by making a fist and then extending your pinky finger and your forefinger leaving the two middle fingers still tucked in and that afforded you a two finger measure, ermmmmm yes or no?

Cheers !!!
Sometimes it is necessary to express oneself in such a manner as to get a point across. In that case only one finger is needed to measure.

It is not necessary to taint Herb's mind that what I gave him was not good booze. He said it was "good."

I find it very strange, and sometimes frustrating, when you are at the top of one of those intersections and in a looooong right hand sweeping turn and the GPS pipes in, "Turn left!"
