I slept in today as the rain lulled me back to sleep. I heard one mutant rainbow rider after another fire up and pull out. We had said our "until next times" last night. Always grand to visit with mutants and a little sweet sorrow to see them move on.

Paul and Chris are here with us at Deadhorse and we're having a day long Mini-C! There's a light rain falling and the mountain and Jerome are barely visible.

Paul and I were taking and we agreed that he and Chris win the coveted RVM Certificate of Achievement for most site changes in a week. 3 nights here, 1 night there and 3 nights over there. Barb came in second.

We also voted Jim and Paula as the winners of the Mutant Certificate of Achievement for Longest Rainbow Rider in the Shortest Site!

I'm sure there are other awards of merit that will come to Dave and others. Post up Deadhorse mutants and let the others hear about your experiences at Mel and Kates FE Retirement and Going Full Time Curiosity!

Thanks for all the posts from Dead Horse...

Thanks for the news, Richard! The RVM Ohms Generator still has an output port dedicated to Ann.
Lost a time zone hour getting to Grants NM KOA. 313 miles. 363 to Amarillo tomorrow.
Just power tonight. Down to 32 by morning. Hello, furnace!
Kudos on the awards, Steve. The other campers at DHRSP should get gold stars on their foreheads for their patience with the severe Mutations.

Feel free to call or pm me.
Hey, Ed! Well, it was the magnetic switch ... Because I took the bent screen door off the hinges. When I did that, no connection. I put the screen door back on and voila'! Actually, Dave figured out that it was the missing screen door. I guess I just need to replace the thing and transfer the switch from the old door.

Hey there one and all,

We pulled into Sky City Casino just 20 miles east of Grants, we have fhups for an astounding $18.00 a night so we may camp out for a bit. Steve, Marcia and I wanted to bid fond farewells to you and Annie, Jim and Paula, Mel and Kate and Paul and Christine, but it looked like most of you were still lolly gagging about inside. And we had to dump and diesel both and that took some time.

Mel you need your screen door to trip your magnetic switch for your steps to work...

Cheers y'all !!!!

RVM5 and RVM5.1 checking in from Albaquerkie. 416 miles from DHRSP. Rolled in at 5:05 MT,

Tomorrow I40 to somewhere past Amarillo Another 400+ miles.

We packed our MH basement with warm air. Indiana is very chilly right now with spitting sleet. No cold air for us. We'll open the compartments and wala Arizona warm air.

Certificates of Merit (continued): 1) Mike's strumming and singing, 2) Mary Ann acting as a doo-op in support of Mike, 3) Mel - - finally sharing with mutantdom her angelic voice, strumming, and song writing skills - - I was struck dumber by the sounds she shared. 4) Chris' fabulous GIANT Mexican pasta shells, 5) Nola's Italian sausage pasta was sa- - weet.

More mutants can share as time permits.

HELLO MUTANTS - - - you need to join in on a Grand Curiosity. It's time well spent.

Mel and Kate - - you're now allowed to ride the rainbow.

You can bet I will try!

Ha Di and Richard, sounding like a lot of mutants headed this way. Not sure if we should run and hide or invite them in!

Ok on behalf of the Arkie mutants anyone passing through feel free to call us. We could use a mini or midi or a meal!

I will try to be on my best behavior & welcome those mutants that have not enjoyed our Arkansas hospitality...

We might not have lobstah etc, but we have "Mud Bugs" AKA crawfish...
