Sue, uh, hmmm, remember the 2 April's we muties spent in Arkansas? I'd suggest that you carefully check the weather forecast before commiting to stop in AR. You wouldn't want Florence exposed to -- dare I say it -- hail.

It's good to hear from you again. Hi Martin! We missed you both at DHRSP.

What happened to all that warm Arizona sunshine? It seems that wherever RVMs meet in large numbers the weather is adversely affected. Remember the cold in Tucson and April's in Arkansas? At least this time it held off until the last day.

Sena, Lily and I will be hanging out near Cottonwood until the battery isolator solenoid I ordered arrives. Fed Ex claims that will be Thursday. We are back boondocking in the treeless National Forest. At least I managed to figure out how to get decent TV reception.

I wish I hadn't missed last night's campfire at DHRSP. Hugs to those I missed. Sena had finally settled down and it is SO hard to disrupt that peaceful state.

Until we gather again -- may the Rainbow be kind to all.

Still basking in the glow of the warmth issued forth by the various mutants at both GCs. Love y'all y'all and look forward to the eventual mini midi and GCs in the future. We are currently in Boise and will hopefully make another 350 miles tomorrow into Yakima, WA.
You would find it much faster if you called it what it is, a "Wha'sit" as in a thing, or did you leave Denise at a rest stop. That has happened, you know.

Thinkin' on that, d'ya think that maybe, just maybe, since we picked up Florence and brought her home on Christmas Eve, that even for me it would be a tad soon? She's still shiny! Especially since she just got a wash, mostly courtesy of Freightliner -- $40, that's all we are out of pocket on this one! 😎
Citrus for Florence? Even-up?
======================

We went to a mud-bug bash on Saturday at a friends house (Castle). Had some good spicy mud-bugs, some music, and some good company. Not as good as all y'all mutants though.

Quick stop in Ontario Oregon to pick up a needed window washer.

After passing through a very rainy Utah I will be getting estimates for cart and RV washing when we get home.

No idea what the greasy grey crud is we picked up.

Hopefully home on Thursday and then off to Campbell River,

Tim is still in reprieve until I get home and then it'll be hell's bells attack after that.

As I look up the hill I see Paul and Chris rolling our way to say "till next time". We are about ready to roll as well. Will wait a bit though as we can't check in until 1 pm and only going 45 minutes down the road.

If we meet in Ottawa, how long do you think it will take us to reach PEI?

What's time to RV Mutant?

We're settled in at Distant Drums in Camp Verde for a week. The casino has a shuttle... oh the humanity!

Ok, I admit it, Im a Hero! Yep sometimes it's difficult to hold back all the wealth of knowledge I possess. So often in life I see someone struggling with a problem and can't help myself with offering up other options as solutions. Sometimes appreciated sometimes not. Well today my son felt it was a problem that dear old dad might could solve!

Background info: Son has a 5er with 50amp service. He was plugged into a 50a to 30a dog bone, which was plugged into a 30a to 20a dog bone. He uses this combination to keep his batteries charged and lights working when at S&B.

Problem: Non of the AC items worked, 12v items nothing.

After checking the obvious, breakers, nothing wrong there. Cover off breaker box and handy multimeter indicated power coming in partially!

Bottom line: Bad dog bone! Replacing the 50a to 30a dog bone with one I had was the answer.

Did I mention I was a hero! Now it only cost me a dog bone!
