Oh my, got new shoes, most expensive i have ever owned.
Only problem it comes as a single.....
Nope, not broken, that would be way too normal, i am a mutant...
Been in pain for almost a year, getting worse, then pain from limping causing other leg pain and back spasm pain.
It is a bone spur on back of heel as well as a degenerating achilles tendon... That is the big thing, the tendon. Surgery is easy fix, but a 4-6 month recovery isnt... So for one month i will wear the boot then doc will reevaluate... Doc knows both sons, so another plus... So far today, the boot is making walking pain free....
Oh, and 18 years ago i had similar problem on same foot, but on the bottom, did have surgery then.... So know what to expect...
But being as ut is left foot, i can still drive....
Just a speed bump in the road of life....
But it also makes me think about all if the other mutants who need ohms,
Diane toftSFM#64....... (The Original Fast Talking Sliding Finger Mutant) and is retired, duh!

Project complete! The multi-tool made quick work of the old Dicor removal, but I fight to get the new Dicor sealant out of the tube and around the new vent cover. I can already tell that it's working to keep the exhaust fan from drawing black tank smell into the coach. Here's proof

Di, it looks like a good reason for Larry to pamper you. I hope the boot fixes ya and surgery can be avoided.

Looks good Barb! We have looked at those types.
We had to buy a new battery for ours. Made a rookie mistake and forgot to drill some holes in our battery holder. It filled up with water over the winter and must have froze cuz battery was dead as a doornail. The trailer is home again with DH but not me. Doc did a change of meds for my dad so I am staying with him to make sure he is taking them. They are doing an echo cardiogram on Fri. His leg is so swollen that he is having trouble walking.

Yes. X2 that.
Best wishes, Sister!
I'm due for another ankle injection. My brace has been off for 2 months! Walking and GCs have nearly cured it

Di... I started using a transdermal magnesium spray for my restless legs/ cramps. One of the things that the literature with it talked about was how magnesiuim is something our bodies doesn't make, so we must ingest it. The type that most folks find easiest to assimilate causes tummy troubles ( think the great big up yours prep)and the transdermal goes right into the cells where it is needed. It also then will take care of the areas like bone spurs which build up and calcium in the artery walls, etc. Not hard on the kidney's because body will only absorb what the body wants wants and the rest evaporates. doesn't need to pass through the gut or the kidneys. Now... I haven't tried it on a bone spur... but my weird trigger toe type cramps are not an issue when I use it. Comes from Canada... Look up EASEMAGNESIUM.com If it's the bone spur at fault.... it might be a less expensive more natural solution.
Oh... and get well quick... ya got kids to play with!

R U an RV Mutant too?
Cadillac Ranch near Amarillo is a total hoot!
It is a perpetually Mutating work of art. And the spray paint is inches thick in some spots. It will be all new in a few days!
