My contribution to Earth Day was burning a lot of fossil fuel, between the RV motor and the generator, well, I guess I wasn't a good contributor today at all

WEll, I didn't get them in the ground today, but I will tomorrow. I have them laid out, but thought, Hmmm... I didn't do a garden planning sketch which I normally do... not that it is accurate or always followed... but keeps my rotation of crops in the correct general segment and helps me know who is planted where, so I pushed the planting pause button so I could get a little more organized. Also called my DIL that is planting for market garden and asked her how many tomatoes she had, and if she wanted/needed any more over there. She said she could take some if I ran out of room. So now, I have to finish deciding what else I'm going to plant in the rest of the area that isn't chard, lettuce, beets, or peppers so far, and figure out if I will actually have room for all those tomatoes!
sheesh.... where was my head? LOL! Oh I know... figuring out the business end of this project! Still need to take the scale in to get it certified. Oh... time to start more lettuce seeds... maybe a mix of fun stuff this time!

Hey, your 20/20 to the rear is perfect. Which little man, or woman, came out and told you to take that route?

New update had a meeting with the doctors for shara's mom. She has rectum cancer and lung cancer both stage 4 blockages in her hart. Cirrhosis of the liver and a infection in her bowls I can't remember the name of it. But she beat the flew. Waiting on more tests to see what's next. Shara is hanging in there it's hard on her I can see it in her face. I wish there was more I could do but all I can do is be here and hold her and tell her she is loved.

Well its time to fix a other broken bay latch. 3/16" rivets, check, pop rivet gun, check. Drill bit, check. Phillips screwdriver, check. Drill, check. Battery, uhhhh dead. Backup battery, dead. Lol.
Battery on charger, check. 1 hour to wait... then backup battery on charger, while I do the deed. Would be easier if the wind weren't blowing like crazy.

Give Shara our love. Kind of in the same boat with my dad. He fell sometime during the night and instead of hollering out, he laid on the floor all night. Had to call 911 to help get him up. He didn't want to go to the hospital so I am keeping a close eye on him. May have to sleep in the chair to be close. He needs assistance walking and some with dressing. Home health is going to start on Monday.

Many many ommms flowing your way, for Shara's mom, Shara, and you too. I'm glad mom beat the flu, since that's one less discomfort to deal with. Add my hugs to yours, will you?

R U an RV Mutant too?
Little Rock was great to visit again, especially thanks to Di & Larry's hospitality. To make it all better, Tim & Mary and Richard & Ann drove up to join us, as shown in the beach scene Di posted. Better yet? No hail! So we got in our midddd with no more than the usual merriment and a few French fries.
Since escaping AR, we have been traversing TN the looong way. Our last stop was in the Natchez Trace State Park. The sites are quite generous, fairly level gravel, complete with a couple of young trees, a fire ring and a BBQ. Senior discount, too. We stayed an extra night.

Lake in the background.
A neighbor brought across one of his 4 champion standard Schnauzers to meet Betsy, who promptly put poor Chief in his place. She stalked straight at him, fluffed up and turned sideways, whereupon he was reduced to a quivering, back pedaling dog-shaped mess. She looks a bit strange in her harness; maybe that's what scared him so.

I don't think I can crop that to show any better. He shook like a cold Chihuahua, and she only growled once. Nobody told him she was declawed (before we got her, I hasten to add!)
Tonight: River Plantation at Sevierville, a sister park to the Catherine's Landing of Hail of a GC fame. Tomorrow: the Thor rally begins for a few more days of merrymaking. I get to help stuff welcome bags and help at registration. With any luck, I'll get to help at the painting class too.
Seems to me a blanket of ommms needs to go out, for Deb's dad, Shara and her mom, and all the rest of us with major and minor pains and problems. The generator here is cranked up to full power. Ommm!
