Well... we ran up 17 to I-40 without a hitch. Down 40 to our exit and headed toward our RV park. Next thing I know we're slowing down and the check engine light came on. Limped to Freightliner. EGR Valve... so hotel for the next couple nights. We're settled in probably till Friday morning. Almost 18 months on the road without an issue.

Plot Twist!

Wayne thanks for the advice on Admiral Nimitz WWII museum; Hunter will love that.

Sorry to hear about 3 grands going to Tampa...

My Brother still lives there with his family & we have visited him often...

On down the road, we may have to "Caravan" to the sunshine state...

If you get a chance to return there (or some other Hill Country town) next year, to to go earlier so you can see the blankets of bluebonnets and other wild flowers that cover the roadsides and hills. Breathtaking! (Thank you, Lady Bird.)

The funny thing is when we lived in the Seattle area we bought wild flower seeds for our hillside and they came from Fredericksburg!

We hear that there are peach orchards there and I am hoping to place an order for a few cases and then I will run back when they are ready for pick up.

We loved Germany and that is why we are heading there.....it's between Fredericksburg and San Antonio😉.

Just excited to go do something fun !

Heading to Seattle in June for a couple of weeks in the RV too.

Thanks Richard and others.
I was glad to hear it was only code. Not so glad to hear that the EGR isn't covered by ESP...
$1,500. Not bad.
