Wayne - This is a Freightliner Western Star facility. Probably don't see that many 6.7's. Nice pics on the wall of Western Star trucks and DD engines. They both have a "look" about em!

Also - this isn't a big shop - 4 or 5 bays. They are working on her now. I hope nothing else is amiss. I opened the bedroom slide for them and they said - hey we can get it right here. We shall see. Hopefully on the road tomorrow.

They say it's done. $100 over estimate and they broke one of my TST tire sensors. They will hear from me in the morning.

Great start, Steve! Maybe TEMSYS so it isn't confused with that common word??? After all, there is nothing common about this group. Are there any other words that mean Rainbow? Beauteous Arc? Nah -- this is a tough 'un.

I have no ideas what an EGR is and I hope my lowly Class C doesn't have one to go bad. Do I? I certainly didn't get the impression it had anything to do with the tires if you took it to Freightliner. So how did they manage to break a tire sensor?

The 18 point check - which included tire pressure. I even told them it had flow through sensors.

I have video, too, but apparently can't upload that. It was a perfect evening for a purposely smoky fire: very little breeze. The lights were 3 little laser boxes spaced around the fire pit. Fun.

End of rally, unless you count breakfast and goodbye hugs. I've met so many folks from so many places with so many dogs that my head is swimming, and I have to wear my name tag just to remember my own name!

Replacement phone in hand, I shall march into the AT&T store tomorrow morning and get everything possible transferred from the poor battered old one. Thank heaven for the old fruit phone. It does everything else except be a phone!

Mohmmms and ommms where needed. Poor Bonita didn't need her toes stepped on, fer shur!

If you want a great place to stay in SA, go to the Fort Sam Houston Fam Park. It is really nice and they have a nice doggy park. From there to Fredericksburg is about 75 miles.
We are making another trip to SA as we are just taking a long weekend off. Its our 38th Anniversary and Mother's day weekend. The holidays are hard for me still with no family around so we are trying to be gone having fun and hoping it helps........yes I am a whimp. ;-)

But thanks Wayne as I will keep that as our plan on where to stay in SA.

I did a little hunting on Wiki and gleaned some things which may or may not stir creative juices..." In Norse mythology, the rainbow bridge Bifröst connects the world of men (Midgard) and the realm of the gods (Asgard).

The Irish leprechaun's secret hiding place for his pot of gold is usually said to be at the end of the rainbow. This place is appropriately impossible to reach, because the rainbow is an optical effect which cannot be approached.

Higher-order rainbows

In addition to the common primary and secondary rainbows, it is also possible for rainbows of higher orders to form. The order of a rainbow is determined by the number of light reflections inside the water droplets that create it: One reflection results in the first-order or primary rainbow; two reflections create the second-order or secondary rainbow. More internal reflections cause bows of higher orders—theoretically unto infinity.[42]"

Hmmm, if we ponder (reflect) more, are we of a higher order in rainbowology?

The thesaurus says colorful is a synonym as is multihued, mottled, dappled, and flecked. The antonym is monochrome.

That's all I got for now...maybe that will put more mutant minds a muddling.

I have been pondering but out of my element since Tuesday. The hotel us OK - but we miss home.

Now on to ponder where we shall wander next. It's cold enough here that moving on is in order.
