Mel, brakes should not go all the way down when pressed. You have a fluid problem in either the lines, the master cylinder or the calipers.
Click you heels, spins in a circle three times with your eyes closed and yell "DWAYNE!!!"
Oh what the heck couldn't hurt could it?

Barb, you do have an EGR valve but it is nothing compared to a diesel engine. Even "Smarty" has one.

I think she needs to let the engine run and the air to come up.

Nice try, Steve! But it will never happen. You can't hide the greatness of any RVM.

As long as it doesn't seem like it's been 58 years I'd say you are doing something right. Congrats!

THAT'S why you diesel pushers let your engines idle so long! I thought you were just wasting fuel. Learn something new everyday.

And Mel probably knows this ...? Or not. But that's my guess. And if the air was bled out by pumping the brake (or leak) the emergency brake pops on. Then brining them back up can take a little bit of time. Long enough that the panic mode can kick in before it's done.

I called her. She will check it when she gets back to the coach. Fingers crossed.
