BTW, what do your gauges say on the dash? One of the periodic tests diesel owners with air brakes should do is to shut down the motor, turn the key back on, and gently pump the brakes several times. When the air drops between 60-65 the low air alarm should come on, and at some point as stated the parking brake button will pop out.

Start the engine and watch the gauges. They should slowly start to rise. If they don't then there is most likely an air leak (kind of big) or the air pump is not working. A big air leak could be heard standing outside walking around the coach.
She text me that it worked. All good for Mel and Kate!!

Wow... Bob surprised the heck out of me this evening. My stone fell out of my engagement ring awhile back. He took it to the jewelers for repair.
Tonight he took me to Beethoven's (which, by the way, Dave, has now marked the Frickadellen [German meat loaf] as Gluten Free... Yippee!), and handed me a wadded up piece of tissue paper... I opened it and couldn't figure out what happened to my ring, it was just the stone and a little bracket on it, I thought... wha? They killed my ring? Then he said it's your stone in a pendant, and so I thought.. they did kill my ring! Then he stood up and dropped to one knee and pulled my ring out of his pocket like he was proposing... and it had a larger diamond in it... like twice as big as the small one I had picked out some... almost 37 years ago...and they put the ribs back into it which time has worn smooth and re-blacked the design curves in it, re-rounded it where it got bent out of shape... basically, restored it to how it looked when new... and he had his matching band fixed and re rounded, and the time worn ribs remade in his and all too! I was speechless! (That's going some if you ask him...LOL!) I'll switch to my phone and post a picture.

I've heard that noise, walking around your coach, around your table at the pavilion, next to you in line at the buffet! Yep those air leaks can be heard!

Marty that by far one of the best things I've read on this thread. Congrats!

We gotta meet face to face. I was thinking exactly the same thing; too uncanny.

Aw Tim, that's just him hissing -- the sound he makes right before Earlene jabs him in da ribs.

How wonderful that after all these years he can still surprise you -- in a good way.

Mel, which would be worse -- to be scared by the brakes on Murphy or to be scared by the brakes on the new coach? I'm thinking this is a lesson better learned on Murphy. Sure glad it was nothing. Just 4 more days to think of a name for the new coach, or have you already chosen one and are just waiting to announce it?
