Russell,
Healing thoughts and prayers headed South. I hope your DW (what's her name?) gets good news back on the pathology report.

Hey Bob,
Tell Stephanie I'll race her at the GC@CL. She has the time advantage over me, but brain surgery beats my upcoming double knee replacements in the tough recovery dept. Hopefully by April we can both beat out most of the competition.
Six feet today, the quarter mile in April.

My DW had her second surgery for breast cancer this morning. She's recovering well if that's what snoring indicates.

This cancer can be beaten, but it's not a her, it's an us, she will derive a lot of strength from you.
You and DW are in our prayers.

There is some suffering and strife on the Rainbow.
You all know you have the best wishes from Nola and me. Our prayers go out to you.
But the hope I see among all of you is most encouraging!
God bless you all.

I hope you're not going to have both of them done at the same time because you need the second one to lean on while the first one is healing. My B-I-L was thinking about having both done together so the pain would be a shorter time. After his friend did it that way he saw the folly in that thinking.

One thing about us gals is we can deal with pain better than the guys. Not sexism, just fact. I'm ready to get it over and done. I have a Curiosity to attend!!

God bless all of you ladies that are going thru health issues! I agree, God gave you the ability to endure more pain than us guys cause you have more parts that can develop issues. Again thank God as men we don't have to deliver babies!
Barb and I send you all our love and hold you in our prayers for quick recovery. We need all of you healthy for the GC.... and my wife frequently reminds me that behind every good man is a strong woman! In my case I can't argue that logic.

My sister had both done at the same time. She thought after one, she wouldn't want to go through it again, and she is right...many need 2, get one and never get up the courage to get the other done. When you get both done at once...your rehab is about the same amount of time and you usually go to an intense rehab facility that knows what they are doing. My best advice as a former CPTA is go do therapy first to get strengthened up first...usually involves pool therapy. Makes recovery rehab a heck of a lot easier. YMMV...it"s just my opinion, and you know those are worth.
