Good deal Colleen.....
The 2nd and 3rd on your list has water...
Kayak maybe? Weather could be hot or cold....
2nd one caters to rallies.....

I tend to like smaller campgrounds... But any would do....

Likewise, it should not be tolerated by RV customers that expect them to be experts on their chassis' functions.

If each FL is not privately owned, I would bend the ear of corporate HQ to let THEM know of your low opinion of their service departments. Ask HQ how such a major step in the repair process could ever be overlooked. That's like forgetting to secure the brake pads while doing a complete brake job. It just shouldn't happen.

Flaggstaff FL should not be allowed under the hold of anything more expensive than a Ford Falcon or Chevy Corvair. IMHO

Little Miss service supervisor seems to think that customers should never point out obvious service department problems. I think she's of the opinion that she doesn't take any crap from anyone other than a ABQ customer that gets his or her 20-30 trucks serviced there on a regular basis. You don't have enough "skin in the game" to deserve good, prompt service.

Here here, well said Sir! I believe though that this attitude is not just limited to FL. I'm sure we all have tales of woe trying to get something repaired that should never have been an issue in the first place. I had to go to Red Bay to get things done on my In warranty Tiffin, none of their dealers wanted to know unless I agreed to fork out the labor charges. Apart from that their attitude was a terrible reflection on Tiffin. These manufacturers and chassis suppliers must be aware of this. I stamped my feet at Red Bay and they said all the right things and made nicey nice. It really made us feel great as we sat for 2 weeks in the middle of nowhere along with many other units both in and out of warranty.
Unfortunately apart from venting here and writing strongly worded letters there's nothing we can do and they all know it.
Steve and Annie, we feel for you and trust that all will be well very soon.
Be safe

Uh Oh. Put a bucket under it. So is it OK for fifth wheelers (with chunk missing out of the fiberglass front cap) to be an RV Mutant, 2?

Absolutely! You just need to pass the demanding admission test, stating what your RV doesn't have that you don't miss and of course declaring the journey is the destination. If you can find the means of handling this admittedly grueling test, you're in like flint! And no, not that place in Michigan!

Carl (bokobird) has it given you the staight story... tell us what that 5er doesn't have and you don't miss - and declare the Journey is the Destination and you'll be a mutant too!

Has a date been chosen yet? Much will depend on where we spend next winter.

Ha Kris as they said the grueling two part test is tough.

Part one you've already answered!
1. What does your rig not have that you don't miss?

You said a chunk out of your front cap!

2. You must make the declaration that "The Journey is the Destination"

Coming back with that declaration will signal the powers as they are, to issue the coveted RVM number!

Attention mutants! These are some really nice folks so y'all be nice!

Another member of the Arkansas Contingent.. lol.

Kris... the apparent connection to Tim has not gone unnoticed. However, we won't hold it against you because Mary is wonderful.
