WOW. What have we fallen into? LOL My iPad screen is not even big enuf to read all this. Gotta go get a bigger iPad. OK I think we got it now: The Journey is the Destination and the Destination is the Journey, CHECK. Something about a Rainbow or was it a sign about a Rainbow? OK, got it, we’ll find one or the other. What we no longer have and don’t miss: yard work and real estate taxes. And we don’t even miss that chunk of fiberglass from the front end cap (well really we do so we go to the body shop next Monday). Anybody want to hike or bike in CO, WY, WA, OR, UT this summer? See ya along the roads and trails.

Welcome Billy and Kris, so glad that studying paid off in aces! Sure hope to meet you two, that might help expand my socialization skills with Arkie's and I might be able to communicate with Tim one day

Hey eveybody, they did it! The mutant crowd goes wild welcoming Billy and Kris to the RVMdom as RVM137!
Welcome! Welcome!
This is a great group of mutants, no matter what Tim has told you and despite his being a member in good standing (hopefully downwind)...

Yeah! You passed the test with extra credit points. Welcome to RVMdom! Don't worry about the odd words we use. I'll send you the official RVM dictionary ASAP. Also info about the other ways we mutants communicate.
Who are we chatting with, Billy or Kris? I use an iPad, too. Although it is strained by the volume of posts, it has never failed me. If you are getting an email for every post there's a way to turn those off. They just add to the chaos. It is wise to read the forum at least twice a day. That helps you from getting lost in a sea of messages. I was without intern for 3 days and found 125 messages. This is a chatty bunch.
Welcome Aboard!

Mary thinks that I'm stubborn, but that's the pot calling the kettle black, and she's a Leo!

Howdy:
I do appreciate the wisdom and knowledge about protecting and growing the nest egg and not carrying debt. We are doing that to the best of our ability, and make many decisions about what to buy or not buy every time we shop, be it groceries, cars or homes.
We carry a debt on our current MH because we pay less in interest than what our investments are earning and the interest gives us a bump in our tax refund. We work with a retirement/investment advisor, and are comfortable with where we are right now.
Our decision to do what we love now, rather than wait for retirement had many factors. I'm a cancer survivor and have serious back problems that at one time caused me to be flat out in bed for months, unable to move my right leg. After recovering from that, we decided to live for the now while planning the future, as my/our future may not allow me to travel. That's when we bought our current rainbow rider. A truck and trailer was not an option for me anymore.
That we want more doesn't surprise me. We've had this one three years, and it was an experiment of sorts to see how we liked driving around in a smallish class A. We found we like it fine! Nice toys like auto levelers help me, as setting up camp takes about five minutes including hookups. We have learned a lot, have more to learn, and have made a few booboos along the way.
Maybe buying new is a booboo, and we are looking at new and used. In our previous two campers we knew it was the right one the minute we walked through the door. I think we'll be shopping for a while, and we will know that we have a great community to turn to when we have a couple of thousand questions.
In any case, we hope to have many more adventures for many more years. The journey is the destination!

Ladies your next step regardless of you Rv situation is to make a GC! Even though we keep telling these mutant your great people, well let's just say, they want to meet you! And we're looking forward to meeting up again too!
Thought I'd pass along, with my Mary's permission, a little misshap on here latest quilting job. Rushing to get it finished before the shower she took some short cuts. The picture is the results after washing. First one she ever had problems with.

A hearty OH YEAH, Billy and Kris!
Welcome to RVMdom, we all hope to meet you out on the Rainbow.
Has Tim trained you on the identity of and defensive maneuvers needed in case of the famous Arkie Jumping Trees?

I'm heartsick for Mary just looking at the pic. Tell her she has at least 1 kindred spirit. I've had projects go that bad and worse.

Nope. Stay near Bonita, pal.
In the mean time, Nola will always rule as Queen of all matters re: laundry. Besides, she is bored the instant we walk into a hardware store.
