Hey, you're right! I probably would have realized that around 6/1 without your help, Marty. Thanks! It sure seems a lot shorter than that. I'm on my way to my daughter's Seattle back yard for the 6th summer. Anyone notice that Rainbow time moves at warp speed?

Do you think that ship can fly if he goes down an 8% grade doing about 80 mph? Not very aerodynamic, but I do believe Sena proof.

Driving bigger doesn't bother me - I'm EVOC certified for fire trucks. The CDL instructor at the local community college said he'd get me through learning what I need to know.

We would like a quieter ride, more stability and a longer coach. DPs are costly to maintain, but also last longer. I'm a year older tomorrow, so retirement is getting closer. If we set up a satellite internet system Mary could work on the road. We did do a maintenance, repairs, taxes, insurance and mortgage amount spreadsheet. All that said, though, Mary usually gets what she wants! We have an appointment next weekend with the Newmar dealer...
Bravo! Good for you. Life is short. Do it!

Such a diverse group of folks we mutants are. I can go about 6 weeks before being forced to do laundry. I find a laundromat that I can get the RV close enough to that I can bring out one of those rolling baskets and they not think I'm planning to steal it. I strip off everything washable and load into those HUGE washers that will do 6 loads each. I usually need 2. That way I can get that distasteful task done in about 2 hours and fergetaboutit for another 6 weeks.

Steve, glad to see you are out of the repair shop. Besides health, the only thing to worry about is inept repair places.

Actually we are not out of the repair shop. Bonita is allegedly fixed - but when we went to pick her up this morning they told me Good Sam is closed today so we can't get paid - unless you pay it and we credit your card when we get paid.

Cool and calm. I told them it doesn't work that way and why would you not mention that before now. Long story short I told the guy I'd see him and his GM Monday morning and we drove CR-V Mutant to Santa Fe. What's another couple hundred dollars? Eventually serious money, but when GS told them they'd cover $1,9xx.00 and that was the authorization to do the work. Bla Bla Bla.

There's more - but I'm saving it until the dust settles and the lady sings. It will be here:
