Hiya, and welcome! Sorry I'm a tad late (!) in stepping up to say so. You'll find it's easy to fall behind in this particular chatty bunch, and then you get to play ketchup.

I'm Sue (aka Suspinz because I spin yarn), RVM #36, buttinski extraordinaire, seasonal glamper, married to an expat Brit. We travel with one cat.

Happy to have you 2 along. More Arkies, eh? Almost as many now as we have Texans! Keep it up, yall!

We will have a party room - as long as we return it clean each time we use it I get my cleaning deposit back ;-)

Just let them know your with the RVMutan Rally and they will place you in our area at the KOA.

Just found out weekly rate is pay for six nights & get one free.

I don't have the link for the yahoo group anymore so I will email the doc to you.

Weekly Rate for GC 31 October - 7 November is pay for six nights & get one free.

Just remember when you call to make your reservation let them know you are with the RVMutan Rally that starts 31 Oct. Let them know your arrival date and your departure date too. They will of course ask about your rig and if your towing and the pet question.

The KOA has a whole area where they will be placing us so we can all be together. Once you make your reservation they will let you know your site number etc. If you want specific people to be next to you then make sure you share that site info with them and then they will need to call and make their reservation right away!

Barb they know about Sena and all is well for her to come as well. The owners are very nice and I think it will be a great time!

Once you make your reservations if you can post it here or message me - then I can keep track of who is coming etc.

Thanks!

For a RV that is 45' long and towing it would be $49 a night, and that does not include the 10% discount. I will find out about a weekly rate.

Thanks Possum for noticing I left the dates off.

This sounds GREAT... I intend to attend, but will need to make sure I get the bosses approval. So far, our calendar clear & I inked (more definite than pencil) in the week.

Thanks for picking a fun spot near good attractions...

I will let you know when reservations made..

So to carry on with the theme - One thing sitting around Freightliner did was give us a chance to make some new "driver" friends! Numerous.

John for instance was talking about his DD. As he put it "it's a 2011 but only has 500,000 miles on it." And from there the stories just flowed. Similar and grand. Yes - they grouse because they're down time cost them money and repairs aren't cheap, but they're usually few and far between.

Have fun with the one that brung ya.

Gotta run for sure now.

It was a weird day. There was this odd orb thingy in the sky that warmed my skin and there were black shapes chasing me around. An old timer said they were the sun and shadows, but I'm not sure that's right, because I disremember having seen these things before.

We have made it the Goodland Kansas KOA!

As to be expected, I-70 between Limon and Goodland was a little breezy. Quite a bit of orange cones, one lane, two way traffic and narrow 1 lane bridges, but Bonita rolled through em all like the champ she is!
