Congrats Barb! You nailed it, and drove an extra nail in to seal the deal!
Yeah it was late and I miscounted in my sleepy haze.

Hey Wayne - looks like we will miss you two on the way to Seattle. Not sure of our route yet but we have to be there by the 14th and then head back on the 23rd.

Gone to visiting much and driving roads in our home area that we have never been on before.
Rain, rain, rain, and an occasional escapade in rare sunshine to purely have fun.
That's about it for now.

Hey, our loss. Next time...Hunter needs to retire for good. After Fredericksburg GC (Is it a GC?) we will go to Fort Sam for 2 weeks. We love that area.

Well, we were going to Williams, AZ from Holbrook today but last evening and this morning the temperature in Williams was 30˚ so we detoured to Phoenix, AZ and the temperature here today got to 91˚. I guess that is he difference between 7000 ft, and 1100 ft.

The ride down I-17 is mostly all downhill with one stretch of 18 miles at 6% grade. There were several other 6% and 5% grades along the way. I only stabbed my brakes less than a dozen times. Citrus did well.

On I-40, and a little bit on I-17, we had some heavy gusts. At one point I told Earlene to activate the awning locks. Hey, that's what they are for.

Check where we are staying on RVillage.

Wayne... if you would have told me you were in the park with the same name as the nickname of the State I'm in, it would have saved me some time. That's a nice snowbird park.

it's probably TMI... but today was one of those days when critter caring is not so fun... Got a text, one of my charges had diarrhea all night, they gave her medicine and went to work hoping all would be ok. I got there, and it smelled awful... but it wasn't the one they told me about. Well, that had to wait, Puppy had to go out or I'd have a bigger mess on my hands, so I took her out , she peed but didn't do the usual 'chores', then took the sick sister out, and she peed but nothing else, which is 'normal' for her, so i took the brother out, and my oh my... he barely made the door before he exploded, but he hadn't made a mess in his kennel, it was just gas... well, he went, and went, and then laid down and threw up a huge amount, so by this time, I'm thinking , OK Alphie, surely you are cleaned out... let's go back in so I can take your baby sister back out so she can finish her chores.... but he didn't want to budge, so I had to take his collar in my hand and 'help' him understand we were going in... so we go in, and I put him back in his kennel (Thank God) and get his baby sister (who by this time is going nutso because she got no play time and because she needed to do her chores) out of her kennel, took her out, she did her chores, and we went back inside to another horrible noxious odor (I had left the doors open to air it out since the dogs were kenneled). Poor Alphie blew a gasket in his crate. I felt so bad for him, he was so ashamed, and miserable. I texted his people to come home and take him to the doggie doctor. So, I had to take the crate apart (big crate, too heavy) to take the offending part outside to hose out. While I was trying to put it back together, his sick sister started whining in her crate like she was about to blow her gasket, so I rushed to get her out and she blew her gasket. So I texted them, both dogs probably needed to see the vet. I put her back in her crate and went about finishing assembling Alphie's crate and we sat for a bit and rested after all of that and then their people finally got there. by this time, it started to thunder and lightening and rain started to come pouring down...and poor Alphie is Thunderphobic, and had to ride to the vet in a car in that stuff...poor fella. Meanwhile, I had another set of dogs I needed to go let out to relieve themselves, and they don't like going out in the rain to potty, so I finally convinced them we were all just going to have to get soaked and endure it for a little bit.... Today was without exception the shittiest day I've had doing Critter Care! So glad the sweet critters and the rest of the happy days make up for it. Been doing this for 5 years, and have never had a day like today! (That's where I was!)
