Two nights in Eagle Nest, NM at a great little RV park owned by a very nice guy named .... drum roll .... Steve. (We know several nice guys named Steve.) That area would be a wonderful place for a GC some day. He's had lots of groups there, including a Newmar owners club. He is super accommodating.

There is a building where we could meet. There's laundry (only $1.25 per load for wash or dry.) Bagged ice you pay for on the honor system.

Will get on full site so I can post a pic of the multi-use building. Nice little deck on the side.

Had a great mini today with Ann, Richard, Pat and Barry. Sorry Di you couldn't make it so we talked endlessly about you just kidding! We actually raked Wayne over the coals!

Another great addition to our mutant family, hopeing to get together again before they depart. So many mutants to talk about and so little time!

LOL, , funny. It's just too easy to do. Wait till we're all in Maine and he's 3,000 miles the other direction!

RV Park Reviews says it has no 50 amp service. Is that true? Rating isn't very high either. Last review was in 2013.

I read the same thing, however, Eagle Nest is all about the views and from his park they are spectacular. He bought it about 4 years ago and has been working to improve it ever since. Added many 50 amp poles last year. We had FHU with 50 amp. No cable, but we weren't there for television. Sites are all gravel, but we didn't mind. Steve is so nice and so helpful that we recommend him. There are "fancier" parks in the area, but we liked Angel's Nest. Not perfect, but he's trying.

Eagle Nest is part of the "Enchanted Circle" of Angel Fire, Taos, Questa, and Red River. We drove it in a day. Lunch in Taos at Bella's ... OMG! It was simply amazing! Steve Flagg, put it on your list and order the Chile en Nogada. After that meal, I could've died a happy camper.

Drove from Eagle Nest, NM to Cortez, CO today. This pic is on the drive to Chama, NM. There was snow still on the ground. 18" deep in places. We had a snowball fight!
