Morning Mutants, we set up our campfire in a can last evening and attracted a lovely couple who pretty much full time in their 5th wheel, their base is Houston. We of course enthralled them with tales of Mutancy and they loved it. Fredericksburg is a definite probability for them.

Merna Tanner called yesterday to say Thanks for the kind condolences for Russ (RVM125-GA). I had sent her a copy of all of your posts.
The memorial service was at the train museum that he loved so much, and it was standing room only for the event.
If you are ever near Carson City, let me know and I will provide info to visit Merna at the museum. She is a volunteer there. The folks there will be happy to give you a private tour, just tell them that Russ was a fellow RV Mutant.

It looks like you timed this leg well. Just had a nice line of T-stroms pass through and it looks reasonably clear behind.

Thanks of the Hannibal, MO pics.

Some rain rolled through here this morning and yesterday too. Also had rain at 5:15 am in Topeka. The remainder of each day was sunny and dry. Ah... springtime!

Have a great day mutants. Today I will be working on making the mounts for the solar panels I've picked up along the way and will be adding to the array we now have once the threat of rain is gone. great fun up north but I have to find a way to post the pics we took as they are on a computer that refuses to spin up. Finally bit the bullet and bought a brand spanking new one that should keep me in mobile mode for a few years.

BTW our news just reported they (Seattle) are all lit up again.

You obviously haven't seen sweet Ol' Honey yet now, have you! Lots of downgrades would have to happen to keep up with Honey!

Those are labors of love and not to be considered w@r&.

You guys got the heck out of Kansas just in time... twisters over by Topeka ... ya'll must have been running fast to leave that big of a 'dirt devil' full of rain and whatnot in your aft path....

Marty, I would never expect a mutant to worry about RV one upmanship. I was really just teasing Dwayne is all.

Four years ago Denise and I had a 1977 C Class Diplomat (Canadian Company and nothing to do with Monaco) that we went coast to coast (Am & PM) with and never blinked an eye when people worried about her age. That C Class was gone over from one end to the other and everything that was mechanical was in A-1 shape so we just went. You have to run what you brung and be happy with whatcha got.

Looking forward to seeing Honey at a gathering we can mutually get to.
