Would love to see it, but fully understand. You wouldn't believe how much food goes unphotographed... lol.

Bad news.

Dave and I went back to the Youth Centre this morning to finish the deck, ramp and stairs. When we tried making the decking work it went all wonky. After measuring and remeasuring and damn near crying we had to dismantle everything done yesterday and start over, from scratch. None of the post saddle holes were drilled properly and that was the reason we couldn't get a square starting point. We will go back tomorrow and re-drill the post saddle holes in the concrete where they were supposed to be the first time. Have to let the cement cure overnight that we filled the holes with and start over tomorrow. The only good news is the posts can be reused after we cut them to the proper length. How a bunch of people can not follow an easily laid out plan I cannot fathom.

The only socially redeeming thing is I'm on my fourth beer and I have eight more to go before I run out. Ruckling Rucklefrutz to quote Snaggletooth Tiger,

Sena, Lily and I stayed several days at Deb and Dale's wonderful place way up in the mountains of Idaho. Just so everyone knows -- there is not much flat space. Our 25 footer was almost level only with a lot of help from Dale's collection of 2 x 8's. If your rig is any longer you might want to leave it in town. The deer cutlets were outstanding and Lily had great fun running off leash. The conversation was delightful fun!

Today was a day for riding! Took the bike to the woods (e.g., western CT and into NY). Tomorrow they're calling for rain so it was today or forget it...

Only the good stuff, right?

Yea, it was my first real ride this year since bringing the bike back from FL. Took a usual route that I know quite well so it was extra enjoyable knowing all the curves and such in the roads. Was a half decent run, around 4 hours.

The house down the way... haven't seen anyone about. I think they would fit right in and will keep an eye out.

And on the subject of rare sites... back in Gallup, you remember Gallup, we met Bill and Maureen with their new to them Travel Supreme Mid Engine. The first I had seen face to face. Well since we've been here, the second I have seen has been parked next to us. Que the twilight zone soundtrack.
