Get off the fence Dave and Colleen! I am happy to teach whoever wants to learn how to make Chinese food and I will print out recipes for anyone that wants them too.

Hope you are able to get out of San Antonio without using a paddle. Safe travels and be careful with all that nasty weather in the area.

Yes it is. It allows one to maintain their shape.

Most of it came home. In that picture, immediately behind the sandwich, and on the same plate was a cup of potato salad. Leftovers for a few days.

Boiled is okay but I like them on the BBQ grill. BTW Tim, impress those Northerners when eating lobstah. Take Mary's rolling pin with you. Break off the little legs that the meat is so difficult to get out of, lay it on the table and use the rolling pin and it will push the meat right out of the little legs. Everyone around you will be jealous that you have more lobstah to eat than they do.

What a mess in Texas. I hope it is all gone by the time we start back home.

===============================

BTW, XCTRAVLER is in this park we are in. I have not seen hem yet but I drove my his site early this morning. I'm in 418 XC! Going to do a little wine country today but typically we are here late afternoon, and evenings. If not here try 420 where we visit with Earlene's friends. (See, I know I don't have any friends.)

Arches? Yes! That canyon? No. The knees weren't ready to hike when we were there. A return trip is in our future. I'm jealous.

So those thousands of "DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS" signs don't work?

Upon reconsideration I guess it is a good way to flush out those from the "adjoining" states.

What's wrong with that! We do a fine job of messing up our State, and then we have visitors who just make it baaaaddddd.

p.s., we don't call you "snowbirds," we use the nice term, "Winter Texans," well in public anyhow.

Went to a bar in the Houston area over 3 decades ago with a classmate from my ATC class in OKC. Bill was from Iowa so between the 2 of us we had serious midwestern accents. Some gal at the bar in a joking but friendly manner said, "Ah crap, we have some damn yankees here."

I replied, "I'm a good yankee, I come down here, spend my money, don't cause trouble and leave without complaining". Her response to the bartender, "I'll pay for what ever that damn yankee is drinking."
