Our hosts took us to Julian, CA, a quaint little town off of Hwy 79 and about 4500 ft in altitude. Had a late lunch (dinner and breakfast for the next two days) there. Here is the Chicken Fried Beef Steak. (More leftovers!)

That little hike took us to Sand Arch. After hiking through lots of sand, my legs were really sore the next day. Hard on the knees. But, worth it to see the sites!
So, winds Ike you may be planning a return trip....

OK update. Tore out the dining room completely. I striped the wall paper off the walls and tore out the floor in the kitchen. I will start the rebuild soon. The to service the drive train then paint
