Just don't look at the keyboard. It's okay if you spell like Dianne.

It was only $10 since I ate the leftovers the next afternoon. I am trying to cut down on expenses. To do that I let Earlene have a cheap salad then I can splurge.

Can anyone recommend a good Resort around Santa Fe please. I'd prefer pull thru and space. Money isn't an issue as I'll use Wayne's credit card.
Be safe

We stayed at The Trailer Ranch RV Resort on Crrillosis Rd. Back in but shady spots. First impression was not great but after driving around to some others it turned out to be a jewel. We stayed a week.

Bummer Di - I know how hard that will be as its hard for me too!

One exciting thing is when Hunter and I leave next week for Seattle we will be bringing 3 of our grandkids back with us for a month!!! Lots of fun things planned for that time.

We have been working on a project on the SB - we have added solar panels and a Sonnen 10kWt battery too. If I have calculated it all right we should be able to disconnect the electric company in El Paso soon.

Next the yard!!!!

Will the local electric company buy your excess power? Some will. The batteries on my RV are usually full by noon and there are still several hours that the panels could be making me money if there was a way to plug into the proper grid.

Nice! I'd like to know more about your battery. I have a 6.5kw system on my roof for the last 8 or 9 years and it might be nice to have some additional power after the sun goes down.

They buy mine back! But of course they pay squat when THEY are buying it, totally different price than what they CHARGE me for my usage.

So Di and Larry, are you going to winter near Tampa now that you have grands down there?

The can and do but its only 2 cent a kph and so not really worth is. Power here is a huge issue - we own 5 UPS that our big stuff is plugged into now. Power surges here are huge and int he middle of the night for unknown reasons.

We may just flip the switch on our back wall and not sell to them and see how it goes for a while they charge us a fee of $7 a month since we are on solar but that ok right now too.

Yup that is what we have on our roof too! We researched a lot and looked at several studies and decided that Sonnen is our best choice. Its self contained - inverters etc are all in the box and we can add 6 more Kw of power to the case still. The actual batteries are made by Sony. They were engineered in Germany and are made here in the US.

We looked at the Tesla Power wall too - but that might have been an issue at work lol; but mostly concerned that its still not a finished product and there was so much that needs to be added to make it useful too.

Sonnen' a bit pricy but we are ok with that since we are thrilled with what it is doing for us.

So I was listening to some music today and just felt like sharing this one. And as it happens, my daughter would be 29 today. It was great to find this version of the song on the youtubes...
