Kung Pao Tofu is off the charts and so is Tofu in Garlic Sauce. My favorite Chinese Deliver place will make anything with Tofu. They also have a soy based veggie chicken that is good. And - I love a southwestern salad with wheat meat.

It's all good.

The DW is recovering.

Thank you all for your support. Cheryl went back to her normal daily activities (bingo) today. I'm still doing all the household stuff like cooking & cleaning but this is a good sign in the right direction.

I'm making chicken encheladas tonight with the leftovers from last nights roast chicken. She'll complain that I used too much spice but I can promise you I won't be using any TOFU!

Seriously! When she was taking a drug (Arimidex) to rid her system of estrogen she was told not to eat anything made from soy. Tofu is made from Soy and all soy products have trace amounts of an estrogen analog in them. So if you find yourself lactating when a baby cries or inexplicably being drawn into shoe stores that's why.

Wonderful, it's great to know that I'm not the only mutant that has this social trait!

Back to Riding the Rainbow

Hello and Good Morning ,,, Ermm Afternoon,

I have spent the last two hours catching up on 5 days of posting, its good to see all you mutants are keeping busy mutating extraordinarily well.

I have laid my father to rest, and checked on my mother and she is set for the rest of the winter.

I have said hello to family and friends, and soared with the sound of an expertly played bugle pouring out the notes to Taps, I watched as the Michigan National Guardsmen, Honor Guard removed Dads flag and folded it precisely and handed it to my mom.

Lastly before leaving Michigan, I purchased a large cup of coffee and drove to the cemetery and left some for dad as well, he really loved his morning coffee.

Thank you all for your heart felt sympathies and condolences, each and everyone of them helped immensely.

Tomorrow we head for Apache Junction, and a touch bit more warmth than we are feeling in Camp Verde.

Be Well my Friends,

Cheers !!!

Hello Muddypaws,

And welcome to the group, I am happy you found your way here.

Dennis Thank you also he had a great sendoff, and is well remembered and respected by the large number of people that showed up.

Now we are looking forward to our travels tomorrow, although they arent far, and I am going to try to coax Dad & Nola and Dave & Deb into a mini curiosity mayhaps near Casa Grande.

It is great to be back on the Rainbow, and I can tell you that I am much happier driving the Beaver Lodge, than sailing the skies, air travel is painful and boring.

Cheers !!!

Jeff,

The passing of a parent is hard but I think you will find peace in the memories. Sharing coffee with your dad was touching.

Best wishes to you and your family.
