Carl, Campnative might be the online reservation system, which we won't be using.

Looking good Barb! FHU 50 or 30 amp, count us in!

Now to figure out how to get there, I see it's just up the road from Detroit!

Here is the park

River Mountain RV Park | Idanha, detroit lake, sisters, river mt rv

It is a very small RV park nestled under the trees and next to the Santiam River in Idanha, OR. I know we talked about being on the coast, but there is often morning fog that might block our view of the sky. They have FHU and 50 amp electric service, which is not available at many Oregon parks.

Got questions? Ask away!
I thought that town sounded familiar. We have driven that road bet Sisters & Salem. It is a pretty drive.

I tried to quote you Tim but it was hijacked. Edited it to delete the quote.

God willing. That is a short drive for us. Now to think about the route. So many possibilities.

Ha Steve, I mentioned this once before, but I'll be persistent and mention it again. Can you, or someone else, post on RVMutants.com the info on the planned GC's. It gets difficult to go back and find the info at a later date if one finds they might be able to make a planned GC. We currently are planning the PEI trip, the Maine GC, the Fredricksburg GC and now Oregan. I know we don't use the .com site very much but this might be a good use for it. Or any other suggestions.

Understood. My main reason to post the link was because it had more pics of the sites at the place and such.

It is a beautiful drive! I drove on state highways across almost the entire state of Oregon from east to west. The first 2/3 of the drive was a boring gradual climb, but the last part was all down the mountain with beautiful trees following the river down the mountain. The park I chose for the GC is under those trees and beside that river.

I made my reservation tonight and I was the 4th RVM to call. Let's party y'all!
