We are IN for RVM00N GC.
13th thru 28th
Laurie is a hoot and grand to talk to.
I filled her in on some folks, and she says it's good to know who to avoid. 😉

TA DA Today is our anniversary. This is #49 for us. I'd say something silly about Mary Ann's age at the time of the wedding but many of you have seen Mary Ann. Many would not guess that she's been married that long. Let's just say that she was older than the gals in Arkansas have to be. And we're not first cousins either.
A very happy anniversary to both of you and my sincere sympathies to Marry Ann for putting up with you all this time.

It gets difficult to go back and find the info at a later date if one finds they might be able to make a planned GC. We currently are planning the PEI trip, the Maine GC, the Fredricksburg GC and now Oregan. I know we don't use the .com site very much but this might be a good use for it. Or any other suggestions.
Tim, time for another lesson. if you put the #number after the URL line, activate it and bookmark it you will be taken to the exact post.

Like this: R U an RV Mutant too?

Notice the #55716, your post, at the end of the URL.

Lesson over.

Talked to Laurie again - she forgot to get my email address. State fishing license is required, but park has best fishing around. My rods and reels will be there!

Guess what... it's officially a GC - 10 signed up.

Woot, woot! Not that I ever had any doubts. My only concern is that we will run out of space. I'm planning to stop there for a day or 2 on my way south next Fall so I can get a better idea of where we can do activities.

The owner Laurie sounds like a super person. She also sounds as accommodating as the group that ran the park Steve & Maryanne arranged for us in Tucson. So looking forward to this event.

Thanx Barb for all of your work on this GC. The CG looks like a few of the Michigan State Parks that we loved so much when we were Wolverines 1968 - 1990.
I camped a lot of those state parks also back in the day. Camped as far south as the RV park just outside of Gaylord. Although most of our camping spots were between Detour and Marquette in Yopperville.

Better make your reservations young sir but right after you make an appointment to see your doctor.

Just so you know you've been preapproved for the GCMoon event. Someone from Kanukistan convinced them to let you in.

You too eh? First time I've been on the phone that long making a reservation. Looks like there's only about 8 sites left.

To say Steve and Maryanne did great job is a huge understatement.

I would suggest that we call this event "The Great Mutant Mooning" just to keep everyone on their toes.

On the road again for the summer. Today, Buena Vista, CO, Valley RV Park (great owners/host) 2 miles north of town. Only issue in CG is dusty roads. Anyway, next stop is Denver, then on to Gillette, WY for Tiffin Rally. Attached is South Rim, Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP.

I think I recognize that hat!

Warning. Barry and Pat are headed there too. They have, as I understand it, Satans Margarita Machine, and I'm not sure he's given up looking for it.
