Gonna be movin' slow. Don't really know yet but I should be able to give a days notice. :-)

No, I have been busy processing and adjusting the lighting effect. We were sitting under a cover and the back-light made the pictures a little darker than I like so I'm adjusting the lighting. I'll post in a few minutes.

Kate and I are booked for the Oregon GC. We're the 12th Mutant booking. She is going to run out of big rig sites soon. So glad we got in under the wire!
Y'all hurry and book your site if you haven't already. Just go ahead and book one even if you're not certain you'll make it. You can always cancel. But booking now might spur you to commit. The more, the merrier!
This is one GC we don't want to miss, that's for sure. And Barb, we add our thanks to everyone else's for all the hard work you have put into this to ensure it happens. You know we love ya, sister!

I cannot emphasize enough how beautiful is the drive up the Logan Canyon National Scenic Byway in northern Utah. Bucket list, y'all!
We are camped at a gorgeous site at around 8,000' overlooking Bear Lake. Spectacular views, for which pictures simply can't do justice. But here we go ... And if they are flipped wrong, well .....

Well, it did happen. One glorious day and a fabulous ceremony. The pictures do not do it justice. These are not in any specific order.
1 - Accepting the flag (don't remember where it was flown) and then presenting to the retiree.
2 - Honoring the family. Each receives a certificate of appreciation.
3 - Presentation of Legion of Merit and other awards.
4 - "They gave him the microphone!" He did a great job.

This family of mutants is so great!
Mel and Kate having a grand time. Mel struggling to post pictures right side up. Wayne and Earlene celebrating the retirement of their son the Colonel. Wayne struggling to get our of his chair.
I know others are out there having grand times and struggling along. Come on murkers, lurkers. Tell us about it.
And remember, to join in the merriment, tell us what your RV doesn't have and you don't miss - and declare The Journey is the Destination. You can be the next RVM... RVM138 is next up if memory serves.
