Haven't even started looking at PEI or NB yet, Dave I'll be looking to you on suggestions!

Dave I posted some time back and never got an answer so are Lobstahs something we could purchase from the docks cheap and boil ourselfs? Was trying to decide if I need to bring my large boiling pot and burner. I'm opting to leave the Dutch ovens at home to conserve weight. If there are plenty of good cheap places to eat I can leave the boiler home too.

Hey Tim. As we discussed on the phone, there will be no problem finding things to see and do in PEI and Saint Andrews. The lobsteers can be boiled in any dutch oven, multiple if required.
Here are some links to past trips to give a look at Saint Andrews, muck raking clams, and my fav place: Scoodic Point near Bah Hawbah.

That's how I've seen them cooked for the most part - very large boiling pot and a burner capable of boiling them little suckers to perfection!

When we go crabbing we take along a huge aluminium pot (20 gallon??) and a cast iron propane burner. Keeps the water boiling real well for cooking those delicacies.

No! Don't boil them, grill them on the Barbie.

Grilling them to perfection is so much better. Just a tint of grill marks and so succulent. Instructions: Put the lobstahhh belly down on a table. Use a good knife to split it right down the middle. Clean out the nasty part but leave the shell and tail intact. Place on grill meaty side down for about 3-4 minutes (might be shorter) and turn the lobstahhhh over. Put some butter in the shell and on top of the meat of the tail. If you like different spices, use a mixture of olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika or to your taste and brush the meaty part with the concoction. Continue grilling for 3-4 minutes (may be shorter or longer depending on the lobstahhhh) and enjoy a delicious treat.

Wow! Is your math off. You have over 6500 posts. (Don't look at mine as they exceed yours, but then I have important things to say.)

Barb, I saw your sigh and don't fret, I had breakfast a short time ago and can't remember what I had. Luckily I have some coffee left in my cup so I know I'm drinking that but ask me in an hour or so.

Well, when we set up this time and the little slide on the driver's side (12+ ft) went out there was a loud clicking as it reached the end limit. I finally got a mobile rv tech to come out. We tried running it in and out and it is really messed up. It was determined that it is the gear box on the motor assembly.

Part is on order and is supposed to be here on Friday. Expensive part, expensive shipping, frustrating etc., etc., etc. but if this fixes it I'll be a happy camper.

BTW, on level surfaces the jacks seem to be holding the stabilization although there is a definite hydraulic leak on the front passenger jack. One that was not replaced.
