Are you sure this collar isn't milled right from the shaft material? Sure should have popped out of there with six tons of pressure. Oh well, there's always next time.
Curious minds want to know - what are you squashing er...popping?

The drive shaft of my scooter that seized up in Tucson... a contingent of mutants couldn't budge it in Tucson - and he thought his press could do it.

Steve,
With all the work being done, we will not be back on the rainbow until July 1st.
This is going to put a crimp in our schedule, but you know how that is.

We have been checking out the Eugene/Springfield area. There is an RV show
tomorrow in Coburg we will check out. Not being in the RV has slowed down the
quilting, but not the buying of more quilting material.

We plan on Maine in August. Will be great to see Mutants again.

OOms for the operation. Should be great outcome.

Dwayne, the new rig is shaping up to be great.

Wayne, we will move out of here while you are still in California.
See ya later gater.

Ah, I remember that. Maybe a 20 ton press will do it, where's Wayne when you need him?

Heat the collar and/or chill the middle. It worked in the Navy!

Hey Jim, Hi Paula... with the 12 day slow down in Flagstaff and Albuquerque - and now waiting for surgery that I honesty must have - I absolutely understand crimped travel schedules. On the bright side, when talking to one of the Tricare reps yesterday the young "sounding" lady had the same procedure. She said both of her passages were blocked. Yikes. AND - that I won't regret it. So there is that.

We are actually booked here thru the 4th and asked them to hold the spot a week. If everything goes well - I could hit the road by the 10th. That would give 3 weeks to get to PEI. 1,800 miles. That's a weekend for Carl, but hoof'n it for me. It isn't so much the distance as it is the things left unexplored, even unseen for the most part. We had initially planned to have been on the road that way over a month ago. Geesh.

On the other hand. I have new doctors, who are both great. Figured out Tricare for full timers, Bonita was going to be serviced either way but that's nearly complete. Progress is progress. There are a lot of people that will never plan the things we Mutants are doing, much less feel the time crimp.
The problems we face - oh - I have to stay here a little longer. OK. Is what it is, and it's great.

Are you booked somewhere for the 4th. It might be dicey at the last minute.

And whoever it was that suggested Wayne should stay off the sofa when Earlene is bringing the slides in...
Here is a major award.

I bet Mel and Kate are having a ball at Grand Teton. One of our favorite places.

Paula, you should be here in Port Alberni. A friend of ours is closing her quilting shop and retiring. Everything is 50% and you get the added bonus of a discounted (30%) Canadian dollar. Your savings alone would pay for the ferry trip both ways.

I was applying all the heat my Tiger Torch could muster, all 200,000 BTUs of it. Had to stop short of going red hot for fear of bending the drive axle. Will try sometime next week when we get home from Victoria.
