Is there any way to talk them into the PEI, N.B. & Maine GC's???
Is there any way to call 3 GC's in a row something more spectacular??
would love to but that w&$k crud will make it impossible. have to keep close to home for most of my trips. start some trouble down southeast and we'll make an effort to be there. would love to get some of those fresh Maine lobstahs some day.
I had to make a tough call to RVM1 and RVM32 yesterday.
The bad news is - we won't be at PEI or St. Andrews and I'm not sure about Maine yet. I canceled Canada and currently have Maine held but.
My surgery is scheduled for July 12th. The doc wants me here for 3 weeks for followup. That's Aug 2nd. That leaves us 2 weeks to get 1400 miles to Maine only to turn around and head 3000 miles back to Az. This is a hard call.
I can't tell ya how difficult this is. I nearly said I'd live with it another couple of months but that's not a good option. Annie and I both need a good night's sleep and as long as I can't breath, it's just not going to happen.
Oh the humanity.

Similar situation here. DW mother has cancer and DW has been staying with them the past 60+ days. Comes home to go to work and thats about it. We have cancelled 5 or 6 weekend trips and the two week trek to Canaveral this summer. We have a 6 day planned up the UP for labor day but that is questionable. I did get the new coach out solo to see my son in Norfolk but that has been the extent of the traveling this year.
NE is on our wishlist though.

Bummer, but 1400 miles, heck, that's a 3 day trip comfortably, 4 if you're really slow

We are in a similar situation too with my dad on hospice. I have been at his place for 2.5 months now while DH is baching it at home. All camping plans are on hold.
