I don't know Steve, I think this Sinus thing was never such a problem until you became a SD resident.
In fact I went through SD last year, it caused the most expensive maintenance I've ever had. 2 AC covers and 2 front tires😥.

Hey Dave. Hi Deb...
You're right about 1 thing Dave. I had every possible health check done prior to full time including an ENT and was cleared for take off. Since then skin cancer and this sinus thing popped up.
The hail of a GC only got a marker light and the vent cover on the 1/2 bath fan.

Didnt take pictures, but today was day 8....
So i scarily took a bite if my first ever homemade sourkraut......
Then I smiled and said, mmmmm it tastes good...... Larry was laughing at me.
It is very very good.....
Also made pasta yesterday, and it was dry today....
Used to do lots of canning in other life, but never Polish foods.
Marty - lacto fermentation....

Yes! yes! I use the keifer whey to ferment my cabbage...Makes it crunchy instead of soggy and limp.
Gave the beets I didn't sell yesterday to my kids, or I would have been making kvass with them...another home fermented item made with keifer whey...good for liver tonic and cleansing.

This was very crunchy... Just used the salt, massaged, and weighted it down..... Some has caraway, some not.

No problem being toadless, for you or Colleen.... 4 door jeep much easier to get in and out of...
I will bring watercolor stuff and braiding stuff.... And ifn any one wants to learn to make dream catchers, i can help.... Dont have supplies like Shara, but can use fabric or ribbon in place of leather,,
If we want, we can make pasta one day.... That might make a good potluck----- pasta bar...

^^^ On the subject of kraut... 2 things. Jackie does some magic with kraut and sausage.... Hail of GC!!
And this...
My first job as a kid was at a place Wayne might remember. I believe it is long gone. The Hafbrau Garden in Dickinson, Texas. I worked weekends in the Garden washing beer pitchers and mugs. Another of my duties was running tubs of sauerkraut from the giant walkin cooler that was part of the garden bar. This was a full sized walkin with shelf after shelf of nothing but house made kraut. The bus tubs you see in some restaurants were stacked and loaded with kraut. I'd open the door and the room would fog up and I'd be hit in the face with the best smelling kraut on the planet.
I worked Friday and Saturday night and the band played and people danced and I was in awe of adults having fun. I was young and my family didn't have that kind of fun.
The job didn't last long because I made friends with the regulars and they would give me beer as I ran around picking up empty steins and mugs and pitchers. My dad picked me up one night and we had a nice converaation on the way home. I believe we had a more serious discussion at home at that kitchen table. That's were serious things were discussed at our house. But apparently I thought it all funny so my dad said; go to bed. The next day it was like it never happened. Except I had to quit the job. But not before I saw Andre Previn and formally attired entarage and learned how to party.
