We could sneak your way for 2 - 3 days following the 4th of July. We need to talk. Nothin' fancy just talk, talk, eating out, and more talk. Of yea, maybe a fake campfire.

Thanks Steve. I can't tell you how much it pained me to do so, but I can't keep feeling like heck.
I see the doc tomorrow for the preop physical and EKG. And the surgeons nurse Wednesday for their preop instructions. Then hurry up and wait till the 12th.
Would love to see you both. You do know the only place hotter than here is on the sun itself???
Edit... Annie is doing well except for a little frog in her throat from pollen and such.

Yep and unfortunately so.

At the municipal campground? Denise and I loved that site with the trout stream running through it.

No Way! I'd have to stop and rest 2 or 3 times climbing up to catch my breath!

Carl the pics you posted the other day of lobstah cooking in a pot, was that you cooking it or just a picture of someone else cooking lobstah?
I'm thinking boiled or steamed lobstah, boiled or baked potatoes, and buttah! Or even better, butter and lots of it! Topped with cool beverage of choice.

Those were just pics. I've never cooked lobster personally but in my last company I worked for, the owners brother would come down from Maine each summer with literally 75 lobsters for 25 people to eat He'd pick them up in the morning and drive them down that day.
They'd boil them up in a huge pot and of course lots and lots of buttah! I think Wayne wants to grill them or something but that's just not the NE way. Maybe everything in TX is BBQ'd/grilled?

Carl, I've had em split and mesquite grilled with butter - boiled and steamed. But my favorite is butterflied, buttered and broiled. Ideally there would be cold claws and a spicy red sauce, boiled and broiled tales and fresh and fried clams.... I'm dying here... well another year then... when I'll be able to breath and smell the fresh salt air.

That looks like an accident just waiting for a stiff breeze to make it topple. Watch out Tim, I think Wayne is scheming with the deer against you!
