I have no idea... but from what everyone tells me, the first year you're pretty well glued down.... that is, of course, if all this practicin' turns into pregnancy pretty quickly...
Thoughts?

Well they say practice makes perfect so keep on perfecting the practice
We traveled in a TT when our kids were little and they were a lot easier to deal with then, than when they were teens.
YMMV.

LOL. Well Andrea is totally on board with travelling, even with a small baby... I err on the side of "let's figure that out when we get there"

For crying out loud, let them have their "fun" while they can. You know what happens when you get old!! Right Tim?

I found travel with an infant easier than with a toddler. Infants sleep so well in the car.

First few months aren't so bad... they sleep a huge amount of time... you might just want to adjust your travel schedule to when they are sleeping... They start getting a little harder to wrangle around 7-8 months and don't like being in the dang car seat for so long...

With a tiny newborn... you have all equipment onboard and it's not such a huge deal... after 7-8 months it gets a little trickier, but doable. Pack n play will be your friend.

Bite your tongue... some of us are still having way more fun than folks our ages ought to be having...

We dodged that bullet, Wayne. A magic slot in the storm made it go around us. Maybe didn't want to get our unicorn wet?

Why? You had Train Brain going on! No trains around here except the Strasburg short line. But Vermont and New Hampshire have some for either to or fro the GC.

Strasburg is nice and all steam in daylight.
Then there is the Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington Railway Museum Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington Railway Museum and if you want to see a great video check out https://vimeo.com/4552678 All this is up in the New england states.
Sounds like a GC to/from side trip.
