Welcome, JM10 and DW! Looks like we missed y'all and who-knows-who-else in Wyoming. We just left a 2&1/2 week stint there at the Tetons and Yellowstone. In MT now, but headed east. Have family in the Upper Midwest.
Listen to your DW ... I listened to mine and here we are: Full-timing in our new-to-us Allegro Bus! Been FT since early March and NO regrets!
Hope to meet you at some future mini, midi or grand Curiosity.
Welcome!
Mel

Dennis, Dennis, Dennis ... who could forget Canada with you on the forum??? Without you, we'd only have the Timster and Sir Wayne for RVM comedians. (Who else am I forgetting that's supposed to go on this short list?)
Hi Denise! (Newbie Mutants, for your information, Denise is actually SAINT Denise. Some day you will probably learn why .... )

I don't think you deliberately do things, it's just an accident waiting to happen. If you would keep your eyes open when you are typing it would considerably reduce the number of finger slides.

R U an RV Mutant too?
We are on a hill above the countryside here in PA. This often makes the weather front split before it gets here. But when a storm DOES hit here, it's totally Oh My Garsh!
We are in "the slot" again. Whew!

Google it...... There are many different kinds, Sue has a self loader,,, we are having to redo... Since we got a longer jeep, our other thingy dont work no more....
Ps we got our kayaks at BassPro.... Seats will come out, and then can be used as beach seats,
Do NOT buy a paddle online. Too many different grips and lengths, mine and Larrys are different.
Same for lifejacket.... Get one designed for paddling so you can sit comfortable
I recommend Academy
Then there is this trolly... Allows you to easily pull you yak.... We have a combination lock cable, just lock them around a fence or dock while out.... These came from Amazon....
Diane toftSFM#64....... (The Original Fast Talking Sliding Finger Mutant) and is retired, duh!

Oh, now you've got my excitement-for-the-kayak meter red-lining. Appreciate all the pointers, too, from you and Barb. No need to reinvent the wheel.

Larry likes a round grip... My hands being smaller, i prefer an oval grip....
Dont forget some bungee cord to tie things in..... I tie everything... And we carry one spare cheap pull apart emergency paddle.
Waterproof bags..... Which really do work....
Carabiner for keys to belt loop.....
Sunglasses on cord around my neck......
I used to canoe class 4 whitewater rapids.... In my younger days I was good...
I opened bass pro credit card, got the huge discount, then paid it off and cut it up......
One more thing...... You really want a sit in kayak.... This is the one we got......
Academy has similar, even seen them at Sams....
