Just around the corner from us is a public parking area and they allow RV's into a special section just for RV's. The cost is $45 a night - no hook-ups. It is by a marina.

It is filled up. Welcome to Southern California.

Looks like we have another of the marvelous motoring mutants in the works. I envy you your freedoms. I believe you are lucky to be able to wander at will. Congratulations.

Think I can join your merry group?

Welcome aboard #141. I think you will enjoy this august group of nuts. Enjoy the rainbow and hopefully we will meet at some crossroads somewhere out there.

It was great to hear more about you & as we get to know you better, I want to jump in our RV and head to TN to meet you & introduce our Chihuahua to your 2 fur babies... After all you are our neighbors & now Mutant Family...

As you get to know me better, I am the PROUD father of a Navy Son that held me UNDERWATER 2 days !!! It was on the Submarine USS Greenling on a "Tiger Cruise"... PRICELESS MEMORIES !!

If you are on I-40 west by Little Rock, I, Tim, Di and our spouses love to meet those driving by for a snack or dinner...

Well, well, another vic....um RVM has joined the ranks. Welcome Jake and Mary Ann, RV Mutant #141!!!!
And another Sailor at that.
Do you moonlight for State Farm?
Where is your winter roost? Many RVMs will be around, so at least a Mini-Curiosity will happen for sure!
You like marguerites? Yer almost overqualified for this disorganization.
Pleased to have youse aboard, and I'm sure we can swap a few Navy yarns!

Welcome new mutants, I'm the normal Arkansan! There's Di, that has the slipping finger issue when typing, then there's RiChard that doesn't know the street he lives own. That's I-30 that runs near our house Richard! and I'm Tim the knowledgeable, careing, kind, trustworthy, loyal Arkansan and yes when passing through give a shoutout cause we've found one thing all mutants seem to have in common is we like to eat!

Let me encourage you to get out and meet some of these mutants in a mini, midi or grand Curosity! If those terms don't make sense say something Barb will get you a list of terms we use on this thread. As a matter of fact a GC grand curosity is planned for Aug up near Bar Harbor Maine! "How to eat Lobstah" is our main event! Jump in and join the fun, oh and pass the buttah please!

Don't moonlight for anyone. When I walked away from the last job it was for good. Only work now is botching DIY stuff or helping a friend. Mostly holding the cold ones while they do the actual work if I can get away with it😄

Our winter roost is in Tucson. Bought a park model there 5 years ago. January can be a little cool, but really love it. Not so much this time of year. We left ahead of the triple digits in late May, headed for the Grand Canyon north rim. Don't plan on getting back there until it cools down in the fall.

Spending time in TN due to DW's mother's health. Will probably sneak away for a week or two at the Outer Banks, love Ocracoke Island. Then a short trip to Charleston to visit our son.

Jake

I wish I could blame this slip up on a finger slip.. the 3 & 4 keys are close on my kbrd...

I guess it is "Old Age" setting in, I forgot I-30 runs beside our back yard... A few feet south it would pass through our house...

At lease I got the nearby city correct, Little Rock is EZ to find...

BTW, I guess you are packed for PEI, N.B. & Maine... Travel safely & ENJOY the rainbow..
