Today's Darwin Award goes to the guy across the campground from us. We were mildly amused when he lit his campfire with a blow torch, but less so when he started lighting fireworks with it. O_O

Welcome back! Dave and I were worried about you so he reached out (this time). I swear keeping up with all you mutants is a big responsibility.
So the DP remains in the future?
Also - I always tell people, keep the fireworks away from the grill!

Kate got way too close to this elk. But, no grandmothers were harmed in the making of this photo.
(And if it comes out sideways, someone please put it upright!)

Good work my friend and I hope to see it up close and personal when it is finished.

Ok, honestly, is this a picture of a elk that a real hand is petting?
Something just seems strange here!

Back at ya Colleen. I could see making it to Tucson sometime this winter. Hopefully not the 1 cold week of the year. Our water froze at the bib. Possum and Barry took a torch to it. Oh the humanity.

Second time posted I believe... which leads me to believe something other than Kate and an elk. It's just too much to imagine. Lol.

Dwayne - great work
Steve - having that torch in the motorhome was a unplanned accident. I use it for campfires in lieu of firewood and with apologies to Mel.
Tucson in winter, who wudda thunk. May be make able too iff'n I win a lottery or two.

I have had Lily and Sena hiding behind my knees for almost a week now. Despite the fact that we are inside Seattle city limits and there is a fireworks ban, the skies are lighting up all around us. I sure wish the Darwin principle would bring us some relief. Keeping the TV sound up high until 2 am is taking a toil.
