I kinda wondered if the elk and the hand weren't touching, but the camera just made it look like they were.

Hahaha. That is Kate's hand. The elk is a large stand-up picture at one of the visitor centers in Yellowstone.

You can fool some of the people some of the time and you can fool others most of the time, but you can't fool the Timster!

Many years ago we had tickets to see the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. This was arranged through a large advertising agency as a favor for some of my relatives. It was overlooked the fact that my youngest son was not 14 and therefore could not set in the live audience. Wanting to please us they placed the young son along with Mary backstage in the Green room which by the way was full of food dishes. Following the show my oldest son and I were told to just go backstage and meet up with Mary and youngest. While in the room I proceeded to take part in the chocolate covered strawberries, having my mouth full when Jay Leno came walking in. Hand shakes, slaps on backs, how you doing, rubs on my sons head all occur as I could barely talk due to a mouth full of food. We found Jay to be a very personal person.

Just before Jay walked in Mary excused herself to go to the powder room and didn't return till Jay had left. Being disappointed at not getting to meet Jay we did the next best thing a picture of her next to a life size cutout of Jay. It fooled some of the people but not all!

Well, now that the 4th is over, the fireworks will slow down and Clyde can start to relax. Poor fellow, he is scared to death of loud noises. Last night was a double whammy. Thunder storms rolled through the area all day and night. Every time it would stop for a while, the fireworks came out. It was one continuous boom all evening and night. I think the little guy would climb in his own rear end if he thought it would hide him. He didn't want to go outside at first this morning. Took a couple of minutes for him to realize it was quiet out there. At least I have a good buddy while it is going on, he plants himself on the side of my leg and stays there. Bonnie is just the opposite. She lays on the bed and gives a big yawn. Like, what's the big deal? It's those differences that add the the personality that each pet has.

Thanks to all for the continued Ommms... greatly appreciated.
It's once again hotter than a mutants comfort zone in Central Illinois. Only 84 degrees but 64% humidity and a useless breeze.

I really wish I were up in coastal NB Canada now as previously planned.

I'm beginning to think we will head to Colorado as soon as the doctor clears me. Cool mountain weather sounds too good about now, and another month here sounds like punishment.

Varbas is also a Norwegian food producer/packer.

The BL plate shows up as a toggle cover plate.

What's the application Dwayne?
