Dennis and Denise -- my heart goes out to you and the Mitzie. We so enjoyed Mikkael's sweet spirit last winter. We feel your pain.

Steve, thanks for letting us know you survived the nasalotomy. Please post daily selfies. I suspect you'll be sporting some championship shiners in a few days. Speedy recovery and return to better breathing.

Denise and I could be freeing up a FHU site at the RVM mooning party. We have deliberated about if for a few days and will know better when we get back from the Grandson's wedding and will confirm then.

That would be disappointing, you're not coming to the Lobstah fest and I was looking forward to the Mooning to see old/new mutant friends!

WHAT!

Well if you don't make it will you tell everyone it's because I'm coming?

Guess that means the symposium too?

Carl, I think Dennis means he's switching from a FHU site to a dry camping site -- at least I hope that's what he means.

Dennis, don't change your site yet. Wait until another RVM wants it. After August 15 reservations will open up for non-mutants. By keeping your FHU site for now you will be saving that space for another RVM. I will also give up my FHU site to another Mutant.

Also, if you usually book a 50 amp site at other campgrounds don't worry if you can only get a 30 amp site for the RVMoon GC. Between the huge shade trees, afternoon breeze and cool nights air conditioning is rarely needed.

I got an email from Laurie yesterday. We have almost filled up all of the FHU sites. There will be 3 astronomers there for 3-7 nights. Laurie has another 10 dry camping/tent sites down by the river. About 5 of those are long enough for a big rig.

I plan to stay a few nights on my way south next Fall. I'm hoping to convince Laurie and Jim to add some water/electric sites if possible.

Well thank you Marty, I've now officially been blamed for everything now!

The thread killer thread has been working on not a rally, not a Curosity, but a symposium or gathering of Thread Killers! Possum was/is too attend just before the RVMooning GC. Sorry for the confusion, I'll never ever let it happen again!

*** If your pup was fortunate enough to get to go RV'ing with you, it experienced far more joy and love than the average dog ever knows.

Now comes the hard part; stopping yourself as you start to fill that no longer needed food dish; realizing as you wait at the door that that little furry being isn't going to come in; reaching absent minded for a little body that isn't there any longer. It's hard.

You just have to trust that someday when you cross the rainbow bridge that your pets are there waiting for you and that in the mean time they're chasing balls in God's backyard.
