First Ever Conclave of RV Mutants Otherwise Known As "The Grand Curiosity"

Okay for you new Muteys here is what those of us in the know are referring too......

The first ever conclave of RV Mutants will gather for a Grand Curiosity in Hot Springs AR. this coming April 24-30th at Catherine's Landing RV Park on the shores of beautiful Lake Catherine. We have a block of spots reserved at a discounted rate of $28/day which is crazy cheap considering the amenities of this pretty new park. You can put down one days deposit to hold your spot and even that is refundable up to 3 days before the event. Also if you desire to arrive early or stay late they will extend the rate for up to two more days. If your not sure you can come but there might be a possibility, go ahead and invest the $28 to get your spot locked it....you can always cancel if you can't make it. All you need to do to join us is contact me so I can assign you a spot that you select from the available lots and then I will notify the campground you will be calling to reserve that assigned spot. Tell them your with the RVM group and put down your deposit and that's it....your in!

Here is a current list of attendees:

Well I hope I didn't miss anybody...if I did my apologies...call me on it and I will fix it right away.

Go to the website for Catherine's Landing and you can look at a layout of the park and see exactly where your lot is. Also the pavilion is ours for our personal use during our GC. They also rent pontoon boats, kayaks, and golf carts, bikes etc. They have a nice fishing pier and a boat launch too. This promises to be a spectacular event! Our Most Illustrious Potentate flagship aka Steve has a Mardi Gras party planned complete with masks, beads, gold dubloons, gumbo , fried fish and who knows what else. There will no boubt be multiple pot lucks, and Earlene will whip up some crazy deserts. Our social activities leader......the wise and always funny huntnski aka. Tim has a litany of activities off site that can be attended. If you have never been to Hot Springs you will be in for a treat. With just a few of Wayne's smoothies, our Grand Poohbah aka. CampDaven aka Dave might provide some entertainment who knows?

So here is the deal......be there or be square! Either way, we hope you can join us for some great fun, great food, greet and meet new old friends, and participate in what promises to be a deep thinking, bacon aroma filled, suspenseful, Grand Curiosity!

OK...so we have a Mardi Gras night. I'm thinking one more night we should have another theme for a massive e potluck party.... any other ideas? one thing that comes to mind would be s bring a favorite food from your heritage or descent night which would probably be a cuisine from around the globe type deal. I don't know...that is just one that popped into my mind on the spur of moment.

Hey Marty !!!

I would have to have Marcia consider that one, its hard to say just exactly what that could be, my background is French/Irish and Marcia's is Dutch, but really combined its more like Heinz 57, would ketchup be a feasible choice?

Cheers !!!
