Good year for blackberries: I picked a gallon off my little patch this morning. Sorbet? Ice cream syrup? Other suggestions? There might be enough to share.

My concern is that it is only the beginning.

Sue I feel an explanation is needed here! Our initial intention was to stop in and visit with you and Martin. Then our departure was delayed because the new grandchild was late! Then we got our hands on that new baby that lives right next door, y'all met her father at our house, and we pushed our departure back a few more days. Now we depart Monday and will be flying low as we pass your area so as to make our arrivals where we have made a reservation. If something changes we have both of your numbers and will call, especially if we need bail money!

A gallon! My 6yo GS and I picked and picked and picked and only wound up bringing home a little over a pint! But then again, we did eat a lot while picking

All these things have a beginning, it's how it ends and how long it takes is the problem. Heads in the sand and PC doesn't help. Does Neville Chamberlain and Peace in our Time ring any bells?

Jam with all the crunchy little seeds in it! Easier to take with on the road!

Understand! If & when it works out, it will happen.

Pick & pick & pick? Eat a few? Me too!

How are blackberries in a sauce for game? Methinks the English might do such a thing.
