So our plan is to hit Red Bay and get this thing fixed AGAIN, on the way back to Florida in October.

We'd booked a really good site (G1) if anyone is waiting and wants to take that spot PM me and we can arrange something,if not I'll be calling next week to cancel.

Di and Larry. A mini-C sounds great. Good Lord willing I hope to be around in August. Depends on your route to the Headwaters of the Mississippi. Just PM me so we can set it up.

Mel and Kate, need to know your route as you head east. I'm about 100 miles north of I-90 and I-35 intersection in Albert Lea, MN. Be happy to traverse that way for a mini-C. Just let me know.

Howdy all the rest of you STMs.

Maybe an entire herd! Which begs the question: how many goats to make a herd.

Prolly about as many as make a tribe, trip, drove or flock. At least that's what the almightyguru.com says when googled.

I dunno. Maybe it depends on how good your fences are!

Ah, the famous mystery squash! Save some seeds, or is it worth it?
I went to a U-pick blackberry farm in Oklahoma years ago. They handed us each a basket and a 2 foot long bamboo stick. The stick was for picking up the thorny canes so I could more easily pluck the berries. It sure was a back saver also! Instead of bending down to pick, I brought the berries up to me. The best part was very few scratches.

I would say more than 2 -- how many more depends on the size of the owner's wallet and level of patience.

Ahhh! You can't just leave it like that. A story has to be told. Fess up!

She wore long sleeves, and pants, My son didn't and I could tell by looking at his scratched up legs today...I'll probably go help pick Friday as she is getting pretty big (baby) at this point, she can walk out there in the pasture ( down slope) but walking back is too tough, she runs out of air.

I haven't cooked it yet, I'll save a few seeds when I clean it out before I cook it just in case it's a keeper....( of course, if it is a weird cross between a couple of varieties, it may not produce offspring like the parent...)
